and now comes the part where we all line up and give our opinion on the Battle of Kosovo of 1389?

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonWell, not even as it applies to the rise of modern Serbian nationalism?
Forever liveblogging the Avengers...though I'm not sure that we're capable of touching off one of those legendary Balkan flamewars
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonI guess that is a bit reductionist.

Mass Effect is good, except for all the parts where it isn't.
I liked it, but hated the ending, for reasons that partly though not wholly overlap with the common complaints.
I probably won't get Andromeda, but might down the line if it turns out to be up my alley. Essentially, the fact that it is a new Mass Effect game is a wash, I guess.
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.Let's instead add our opinions on the upcoming Nintendo Switch.

HD Rumble could potentially be the next big step in game immersion but it will probably require so much attention to do properly no one will bother.
nyo ho hoThe problem with Mass Effect 3 (and Bioware as a whole these days) is that all the founding members left halfway through it's development. The company's been going downhill since EA acquired it, since EA is a vampire that buys up other companies and sucks all the good out of them, but their core staff leaving really sealed it.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.Poor Ultima
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMass Effect: Loved the worldbuilding and character interactions. Story was good through the second one, but lacked a satisfying conclusion. Gameplay was decent but nothing special.
Switch: The concept is pretty good and it looks like there are going to be a decent lineup of games. It's going to really depend on how well the third-party support turns out. Probably won't buy at lunch because A. the only launch title that's a must buy for me is BOTW and I can get that on Wii U and B. I just least an apartment a month ago and I probably won't have that much extra cash on hand when it releases.
Balkans: Ha ha not touching this one with a ten foot pole.
Reaction Image Repositoryx8: damnit, that reminds me I was thinking "when are we gonna get a newbie" a few days ago. been a while since we last got one, and I assume it'll be an even bigger while until the next one.
Nice Archer reference, Caj.
Mass Effect is fun, but for some reason I never did finish it. I first got ME 2 and loved the hell out of it, bought the digital trilogy, never got around to ME 1, then started up ME 3, got halfway through and then got swept up in how incredibly awesome the multiplayer was that I never played the campaign again. It was like, fire up ME 3, okay I could go through the story, orrrrrr I could go shoot energy sword shockwaves at mutant aliens as a teleporting space ninja.
I liked all three ME games (the third game has the best combat system), but my laptop was never top of the line even when I bought it and I cannot afford to keep up with the tech curve, so I'm probably going to be getting my Andromeda knowledge second-hand until 2020.
I liked Mass Effect 1 and loved Mass Effect 2. I have love-hate relationship with 3 that stems from the contrast between my intense hatred towards you can probably guess what and my love for the sheer awesomeness that is the Citadel DLC which remains one of the best things in the franchise. Andromeda is meh, there isn't nearly enough info to get hyped.
This song needs more love.i know nothing about ME other than the fact that the main character is named Shepherd and it takes place in space
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeEh, more or less right.
So I'm finally getting around to watching TTGL. I open episode 9 instead of 2 by mistake. It starts with talking about how Kamina is dead.
W E L P
Whooooooooops.
Ah man. I thought that'd be an It Was His Sled by this point. It was for me and I've never watched TTGL.
my friend spoiled it for me for literally no reason other than the fact that he's an asshole
it was upsetting
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI mean, yeah, getting spoiled on such a big twist sucks but... TTGL first aired in 2007. And it wasn't like some obscure thing either; online at least, it was pretty popular. I'm honestly surprised that you managed to make it to 2017 without finding that out, because I think it's past the point where most people are going to be worried about hiding such a big reveal. It would be like somebody watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica in 2023 and not knowing that Mami returns to the Cake Planet in the third episode.
