Alright, confess odd things.

For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

[up] Me Too.

I also wonder what s the big deal about the commentary/response video genre on Youtube. I am not sure if they actually do anything for anyone but for the users who made the videos.

It's pretty much just a leftover from when You Tube used to allow people to post Video Responses to another video. It's weird how even long after that feature was removed, it's still something somewhat embedded in YT culture.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

It's also because of an old tradition in newspapers and journals where writing a letter in response to the editor or another letter writer was expected, say disagreeing with a person on what they say.

'Written in response to Mr. Smith on the matter of colonial ventures' for example - and on Youtube it's not uncommon for a similar thing to be done, say 'Made in response to A User about the Creative Commons license'

When it comes to manga, I tend to read mostly shounen stories due to growing up with them, however as far as characterization and art goes I tend to prefer shoujo stories.

I randomly caught the first episode last week, and I accidentally became emotionally invested in this season of Hell's Kitchen, and now I have to watch the whole season. Whoops. Totally did not mean for that to happen. I do this all the time with random reality shows.

I like reading bad reviews of shows I don't watch and honestly don't really have any opinion on. I don't know why. Last week I read all the comments on an AV Club review of the premiere of the newest season of Modern Family. AV Club gave the episode a C, and everyone in the comments was complaining about why the heck MF was still even being covered by AV Club since it sucks so much, which I found hilarious. I dunno, I just like reading complaints and stuff about shows I don't care about. :/

In regards to manga while I usually read shounen manga due to being partially raised on them as well as being more used to them, I usually tend to prefer shoujo due to better characterization and better art.

I'm not a good cook myself (I only know how to do a few very simple stuff) , but I enjoyed the theatrics that were combined with the cooking as well as stuff like who would get eliminated.

What are some ideas you're getting from it if you mind me asking?

While I may not be the most patient of gamers, I really like to take my time on a game rather rush through it even on momentum based platformers such as Sonic or Freedom Planet. I am not the ultimate gamer who can play any games in his sleep and/or a player who can play a game during its release but I really like to take my time and really explore the game. It is mostly due to the fact that I always have money to buy games and I have games that I haven't played in my house.

Rice is a staple food. It's not the best staple food, but it does mean that it is not unusual for rice to make up the majority of your diet.

For a while, I've been completely convinced that I'm allergic to the letter A. I can't eat avocados, apples, or almonds. As far as I'm aware, I'm not allergic to anything else, just things starting with A.

Whenever I am writing anything, I sometimes get stuck on a particular word or line. I know what I want to write down but I cannot seem to put into text or put it on the page and my mind goes into a blank slate. I really hate it when that happens. sad

When that happens, I just write WORD or SENTENCE in its place (in all caps so I won't forget it's there when I scan through my writing) and then go back to it later

Ever get the feeling that you want to see a fictional character suffer, cry and then die a lot and you'll absolutely love them for it? That's me right now.

[down] The latter.

Sort of. Is "loving them for it" meant in the sense of character, or watching them suffer. cry, and die?
