That's an understatement — some of the Manuals go into a fair amount of detail, and there's a lot to go wrong. Either way, probably the only way they work is because Shoji Kawamori is a trained (and very talented) aircraft designer...
Keep Rolling OnPlus alien technology in the show that goes into their creation.
Who watches the watchmen?Man, I remember when the Transformers "Jetfire" toy came out. It was cool. I didn't get Metroplex, but I did get Jetfire for one birthday. If only they had an Arcee figure...

All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48Its ok I had a VF-1 toy when i was younger. It was a fun toy. I was really big into big robot battles when I was younger. -swigs old man brew-
Who watches the watchmen?Maybe they could modify the F-35 to include a GERWALK mode...
I ain't supporting any Gerwalk capable platform that sets itself on fire with no help from the enemy.
An Ukrainian cargo plane has crashed in Algeria, killing all aboard. Is this the third crash in a set of three? 2014 is Very Definitely a bad year to be a plane now...
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotIf we count large aircraft only, this is number three. Counting small aircraft, this is a new cluster.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Is there something in the air east of Greenwich this year? Planes are dropping like flies in the Eastern Hemisphere lately.

Keep Rolling OnI bet it's a storage area for all the F-35s that burnt themselves out.
Oh really when?Yeah it's an old joke and it's getting tiresome.
More seriously I bet it's a big spyplane.
Oh really when?I think it might be Aurora-2: Son of the First Hypersonic Reconnaissance Aircraft. They have to keep that thing somewhere, and normal USAF bases may be a leetle too exposed for this period in the plane's history. And there's totally enough money in the budget for Aurora-2 to exist, even in this current climate.
I wonder if it's yet another 5th gen fighter.
F-35 is shit and I'm fairly sure the F-22 is still trying to murder all it's pilots. I wouldn't be surprised if there's something brewing in the skunkworks to try and replace that trainwreck.
Oh really when?Like making the F-32 work?
"Yup. That tasted purple."Not the F-24 instead?

Keep Rolling OnYou mean this thing, Greeny?

Took me entirely too long to realize it's a swing wing and didn't just have one gimpy wing stuck out there.
Oh really when?No, this.
Keep Rolling On
No. Those craft are massively complex compared to our even most complicated fighter tech today. They make the F-22 look simple.
