Also because Sam the Eagle has no cheekbones. That's someone's hand.
Scrounge: As for what's her face...five words: juxtaposition and projection of personality.
Oh, and Charlatan, how can I get your old avi so that I may resume PSL over it?
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.I got a better idea: Why not make a life-size Rei inflatable doll? It'll (more-or-less literally) be like having the actual Rei at your home!
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Ew, that's creepy. My like for the character prevents me from degrading the character in such a way.

Killjoy. *tosses away Nightmare Fuel*
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I think given some of the Rei figurines I've seen pictures of, Gainax would have no qualms about marketing a Rei realdoll.
Glenn: I'm not entirely sure what you mean, btu it sounds about right anyways.
Scrounge: Look at how unappealing the stereotypes that surround her are, and note how she projects an "aura of (less non-)sensibility" around her, especially in comparison to her peers.
Though, I'd argue it's kinda hard to lust after her, given that she doesn't really have a sensibly drawn body, so I'm not sure that actually counts as PSL. I think it's just a crush.
Speaking of which, maybe what I meant earlier was that I don't have much of a crush on Samus, because she's kinda way out of any guy's league. As for physical attractiveness, she ranks high, so if that counts for PSL, sure.
Also, oh gawd, the mere notion of a Rei blow-up doll...
You got it all wrong. You don't need a Rei inflatable doll, you need a Rei robot. Today's robot/android technology is advanced enough to make an authentic copy, because Rei is Uncanny Valley Incarnate, so we don't need "human" speech or movement.

It's the P Sl topic. Something like this was inevitable. The only surprise is Lull's lack of involvment.
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.Hey, I was involved back in the beginning. I have nothing meaningful to say about Rei-lust; I was always rather fond of Misato.
I'm big on Misaimed Fandom, though, so I guess I do have one meaningful thing to say about Rei-lust, which is that I heartily endorse it.
the dice are loaded, the deck is stacked, the game itself will hold you backOh by the way, I admit PSL for FFVI's Celes. Ooh, green swimsuit.

Glenn: As far as "Samus is unattainable" goes, I disagree.
Look at the woman's lifestyle. She's in a dangerous line of work that involves near-constant travel and putting her life on the line on a daily basis, to say nothing of how she's alone most of the time.
I'd imagine what happens is whenever she's in port, she'll look around to see who catches her interest, drop into their life with all the subtlety of a hand grenade in a wishing well, turn everything upside-down, and then leave in the dim light of early morning without so much as waiting for whoever she'd spent the night with to say goodbye.
She has to leave before they wake up.
When they're awake when she tries to leave, they beg her not to go. She tries not to show it, but it breaks her heart when they do that. Part of her wants to stay...
But she can't stop. She's got to do what she's good at. She can't leave the bounty hunting behind, and even if she tried... Some day, it would find her.
The last time she got attached to someone, it was a baby metroid that had imprinted on her as its mother. She held it in her arms as it died. She died a little too.
She can't let anyone else close. She couldn't bear to lose someone again.
It'll be the best night of your life... Just, for your own good, don't fall in love with her.

Upon posting a complaint about Heroes on the new thing Fast Eddie made, I remembered that I have PSL for Claire. Though that might not be all that perverted at all.
However, something that definitely IS PSL, is Ciela. Yes, something finally made me break my whole "No Legend of Zelda attraction" thing. She's just so darn cute! Cute enough to make me say "darn." Wow.

Live action: Beatrice of Much Ado about Nothing (as played by Emma Thompson)
Anime: Yuuko Ichihara
Novel: Susan Sto Helit
Video game: Fall-from-Grace
Ho Yay: Any Fred Astaire character, Cillian Murphy's Jonathan Crane.
Well, uh... there is one. Surprisingly, only one. :D
Osaka! Out of all the adorable anime chicks out there, this is really the only one I've ever had any real attraction to. I dunno, there's just something about her... she's so damn cute. <3 She has such a lovable personality, too, but that may be because I can relate to her, uh... different way of thinking?
... Alright, I have a bit of a thing for Sakaki, too. ^^;

I think most of us fall for the personalities of fictional characters. It's the result of a believable characterization. We'd like to believe such a personality exists in real (and beautiful) people.
Thus, without shame, if Lucy Van Pelt were allowed to grow up, I'd be okay with that.
