I'm a scientist, a geek, a fan of Gilbert and Sullivan, and an obsessive polisher-of-entries. I rarely, if ever, make a new entry, but I can be counted on to add examples and, more often, trim down text. My philosophy: If a trope example is more than six lines long, I find a way to trim it down, remove excessive plot summarizing, and move on. In Wikipedia terms, I'm not a Deletionist - I don't think, "HMM! WHAT EXAMPLES NEED TO DIE TODAY?" But I do spend a lot of time cutting.
