It's not a simple as that. This isn't a normal trial, one where the sentence "this man killed X people" would earn you the whole thing. What matters here aren't so much the facts but the people.
Sure?
Fun fact: there's a short story where Harry has to do jury duty. Kinda appropriate
"Your Sig is now charmingly out of date" — Vox, 7/6/2016"Okay, dudes. This guy is totally guilty. Like "I'm a little shitstain of a fuck" guilty." - or How Not To Proceed With Accusing Anyone, by Jan Valentine.
I'm not a veteran so I don't know much of Tatu in the first place, but I guess the idea is curious enough to try.
grahPossible Renaissance challenge.
Beyond Survival
- The Searchers find themselves in a grim future where megacorporations are constantly at war with each other for control of the planet's wealth and resources. Amidst this fray, one stands above all: Ultratech, developers of the world's most powerful weaponry and producers of Killer Instinct, the top-rated show on television. KI functions as both a fighting tournament, where all styles and all comers are pitted against one another for a grand prize made possible by Ultratech's boundless wealth, and a testing ground for Ultratech's latest weapon experiments.
- It also just so happens that the Rook has been through here. Before she left, she assisted Ultratech in developing dimension-hopping technology of their own. Only they know where she went, and in order to find out, the Searchers must take part in Killer Instinct against fighters from around the world, Ultratech's deadliest warriors...and each other.
- The objective is simple. As long as any one of the Searchers wins the tournament, they will find out where the Rook went. There's just one catch: whoever the last fighter standing might be, they'll have to fight Eyedol, a demon warlord whose defeat 2000 years prior required the combined efforts of the age's greatest heroes—and who Ultratech foolishly released from his prison. Ultratech is keeping him in their back pocket until the very end of the tournament, but once he's on the battlefield, watch out.
Right, should make this official- I'm dropping Korra in Renaissance and Evan in Nemesis. Just didn't connect with them.
I'm thinking of a replacement for Renaissance but won't replace Evan in Nemesis, just stick with one character there.
Speaking of dropping characters, I'm dropping Zoe Payne from Terminus. I might bring in a replacement, but for now, I'm sticking with the other two games.
Just pretend I wrote something witty here, okay?My main concern is that we might need to have a bunch of handwaves and stuff for how none of the characters in the AU game end up brutally killed during this very violent challenge. Also what about our baggage, who would get more or less torn to shreds by basically anyone else in this sort of thing?
GCR's GM character mentioned the phenomena of "snapback", where the characters are suddenly sent back to their home dimension at a moment's notice with seeming change.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!......Yes.
And that has literally nothing to do with my post, which is about people getting killed during the challenge.
I don't know if this is true for the Xbox One game, but in the original game, Ultratech has access to cell regeneration technology, which is powerful enough to resurrect the dead. That's how they got Spinal into the tournament. I'd hazard a guess that that technology could be used to patch people up after fights.
Just pretend I wrote something witty here, okay?Y'know, I missed it, but this challenge sounds awesome and it'd be pleasantly interesting to try and make work.
I've had thoughts before about an RP plot based on The Thing, and this is basically how you'd do it.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiOn the topic of the Killer Instinct challenge: I believe we've already established that Rook is something of a benevolent presence.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver! Is it possible for UltraTech to have misled her?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundWhat if I have challenge ideas but don't want to actually run them due to being a lazy piece of shit? Could I throw an idea out there and push it onto someone else?
Yes, but only if there's a character called Brian who routinely gets called a lazy bum.
Des: Hmm. Maybe.
Anyway, Nemesis' first challenge will begin on Saturday. Unlike Renaissance, who's first challenge I'm simply calling "Sabotage", the first challenge of Nemesis has a more descriptive name:
The Magnificent and the Hateful.
Also, JustSomeGuy, if you do not post for Peketo in Nemesis prior to Saturday, he'll be removed from the roster.
If anyone doesn't make at least one post for a character over the course of a month, they'll be given five days to do so or they will be considered dropped by the player.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Crap.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I'm gonna try to be more active here but it's being a bit hard to figure out what to do for now.
Please please please let there be 7 of one and 8 of the other.
To me it looks more like there are 29 of both.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!I'm slightly stuck on what to have Kid do. He's fairly practical minded, so with everyone already set to tasks he's pretty much just stuck patrolling and keeping guard.
Would it be OK for me to drop General Ruk in Nemesis and bring someone to Team Hero instead?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundYah, we still got time.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Challenge starts on Saturday, roger that.
Soldier and Cy-Kill are still around, I'm just not sure what to do with them until the challenge starts.

Is Tatu allowed to talk with the defenders/prosecutors, because I can imagine there's going to be a lot of Stop Helping Me flying around.
