I am a very bored madman.
Favorite bit was the Doom fight and the aftermath with Strange. Good fun stuff, and I loved how Strange got owned in the end.
I still wish I were a more driven player. There was a lot I wanted to do with the Megaten challenge.
At least we got a good War Sequence out of it.

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.I enjoyed what there was of it, despite knowing little about the game beyond the basic concept.
Also, now that I've had an opportunity to read the Eclipce thread, I'm worried that the character I signed up with may be under-powered for it. Seeing as how I have not yet had the sign up reviewed, I'm thinking of changing it, but I still want to use Tira. Would it be acceptable if I signed up as Nightmare, and had Tira brought in later via a mission reward, like a number of other players did with their own characters?
Tira would probably do okay on her own - the lower-powered Overlords tend to cluster together as a way to clog up the meatgrinder improve their chances, and in a group Tira would fit into a very nice close combat berserker/assassin niche. If I'm remembering right one of her bios mentions her ravens talking to her, so she's got some good recon potential as well. Newer characters are still getting wishes once the current challenge ends, too, so you'd have the opportunity to further specialise.
That and from a roleplaying perspective, I can see Tira forming more interesting relationships with the majority of the cast than Nightmare would, since she'd have actual opinions where he'd just kind of growl and think about all the shards he needs to collect/how on fire his soul is all the time.
Entirely up to you, though. I'm just biased because I really like Tira.

Isn't that niche filled?

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!I tend to agree about that issue using nightmare, which was the main reason that I did not use him in the first place.
Well, that and I also very much like Tira lol.
Ok, I guess that makes sense, works for me. Consider my concerns withdrawn. If someone could review the signup when you get a few minutes, that would be much appreciated.
You can never have too many assassins/berserkers.

By my count this'd give us three, discounting Kirei's goons since they tend to work alone and Monsoon because he's a boring twat/is going to be busy doing war crimes if things go to plan. Also because Dio's bulge keeps distracting me whenever I mean to post for him.
They can form a little squad where they go out on operations, operating operationally. It'll be more tactical than you could ever imagine.
Seriously, think about it. Tira's ravens give them all the intel they could ever need, Tesseract does the planning, Vaas provides infiltration and/or covering fire, then Tira and Tesseract do the heavy lifting. Two mentalists and one consummately professional straight man. Fuck yes.

Tacticalicious.
@jorgen: I am perfectly aware that most of Touhou characters look like little girls. Unless they are actual little girls, did doesn't give a damn.
@noob: Actually I was having Atrocitus hold back. I mentioned that if he had not, he would have punted Nitori hard enough to smash through the arena wall.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Wut a luvlee day.
Right, S3 planning time. What kind of challenge can we set in Mad Max Fury Road, how can we split the P Cs to make it fair, and most difficult of all, how can we convince the orks to leave such a happy wonderland?

-pulls on collar- eeeesh
...Orks are gonna be in S3?
-looks at own challenge ideas-
I see many horrible ways in which things can go wrong in both.
Nope, horrifically "You failed the mission and doomed the world" wrong.
I mean, one of the challenges involves a world with The Masquerade...
FUCK DA MASQUERADE!!! TEAR DOWN DA WALLS!! THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW!!!

Hey there meanken, nice to see ya around!
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.Yeah, Stephan & I did a combined post... He had been busy with other RPs of his, and this was going to be a pretty long interaction between Zeal and Desco.

Wizard Needs Food BadlyHello RPG!
Congratulations, you have now pissed off thousands of sorcerers. And the "hating and fearing" muggles.
If someone could afford all those image rights, they wouldn't waste them like that.
Minds can be wiped... but you're fucked if it gets on the internet.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver! Not really, you'd just need to make sure it gains credibility among conspiracy theorists and plant your own frothing-at-the-mouth strawmen to ensure it gets zero chance among the public.
That "British royal family are green space lizards" guy? Imagin the world's reaction when he declares, with a straight face, that the lowest of London's denizens are green fungus people.
It's the modern day. If something weird happens in public, there's a half a dozen videos and about twenty pictures online within minutes.
The other challenge I'm planning is worse: it involves specialized machinery that does a certain job in a certain way. And while I'm sure that the Orks would improve it's ability to it's certain job (killing), it would definitely sabotage the certain way (without bloodshed).
You're a mad man.
