I wanted to keep this a secret a while longer, but the final fight of the series will be a basketball brawl between the player characters, Tatu (complete with the Overlords as his team), and Omega (with a team consisting of all the characters who disappeared).

• Universe: Donkey Kong/Mario
• Personality: Cranky Kong is a rambling, fourth-wall smashing, and constantly complaining grandfather. He claims that everything was better in his day, and he is absolutely correct. You whippersnappers have been spoiled by your fancy-schmancy 3DHDTV graphics and opulent high-quality audio! In his day, he was lucky to have more than three shades of gray and a couple of bloops and bleeps! He had to survive on what he could get, and what little he had, he was happy with!
• Abilities/Powers: Cranky can kick your butt in only two frames of animation. He can also complain at length about any topic he feels like complaining about, and he will make you sit there and listen to him the whole way, with a good smack from his cane if he feels like you need one (which is most times). He's also skilled at making potions and convincing total suckers that they need to buy them to progress with the game.

I was working on an April Fools signup for Eclipse earlier today, but I was rather busy and I didn't quite get to finish it until now. Since it's 2 AM over here, April Fools is technically over for me. But I still didn't want my effort to just go to waste, so I'm posting it here instead.

• Name: Kurumi Tokisaki
• Codename: "Nightmare"
• Spirit Rank: S
• Appearance: Normal schoolgirl outfit and Astral Dress "Elohim"◊
• Universe: Date A Live
• Backstory: "Nightmare" is stated to be the most dangerous spirit known to date, having personally and knowingly killed over 10,000 people throughout the past years. Kurumi has a single final goal in her mind, and will do whatever it takes to gather enough power to accomplish it.
• Powers and Abilities:
  • Combat: Kurumi uses a flintock pistol and a musket as her primary weapons, and has extremely high accuracy with them. She is also somewhat skilled at hand-to-hand combat, but still prefers ranged attacks.
  • Flight
  • Zafkiel: Her Angel and the source of her time-related powers. It resembles a gigantic victorian clock, and allows her to cast special bullets.
    • Aleph: The First Bullet. It temporarily accelerates the target object or subject.
    • Bet: The Second Bullet. It temporarily slows down the target object or subject.
    • Dalet: The Fourth Bullet. It rewinds time on the target object or subject.
    • Zayin: The Seventh Bullet. It temporarily freezes the target object or subject.
    • Het: The Eighth Bullet. It can create a clone of a target object or subject's past self.
    • Tet: The Ninth Bullet. It allows Kurumi to share senses with a subject in a different moment in time.
    • Yud: The Tenth Bullet. It allows Kurumi to peek at the past of a target object or subject.
    • Yud Bet: The Twelfth Bullet. It temporarily sends the target object or subject to a certain point of time in the past.
  • Shadow Manipulation: She can manipulate shadows for transportation, target binding, or even to trap people within for a short period.
  • Spacequake Generation: She can create a dimensional anomaly capable of great destruction over a rather large area, either by accident or intentionally.
  • "Time-Eating Castle: A technique that allows her to drain the life of nearby people over a large radius. It causes a strong weakening effect in all targets in the area, inversely proportional to the target's lifespan (for example, a human would be weakened way faster than an elf, regardless of age).
• Weaknesses: Each time she uses her Spirit powers (specially Zafkiel's powers), part of her own time is consumed, which she has to replenish by taking other people's time, either by devouring them or through the Time-Eating Castle.
• Personality: Particularly hard to read. When around humans, she often acts as a innocent, curious young girl with a rather polite manner of speech and behavior, although she can become highly teasing if she finds it amusing. However, under that façade lies a psychotic woman prone to fits of insane laughter and with absolutely no regard for human (or sometimes even her own) life. Her murderous rampages do have a twisted sense of justice, as she mainly targets criminals to replenish her time. She also has a soft spot for cats and other small animals, and can become quite embarrassed about it.
• Mooks: Shadows of Kurumi's past selves picked from random points in her life. Even though they all look exactly alike, they can have different emotions and thoughts from the original, and also possess a certain degree of independence. However, the shadows' experiences also affect the original Kurumi, and she will be fully willing to kill them if they step out of the line. The shadows are completely unable to use Zafkiel's powers, but are still able to use their guns, summon spacequakes, manipulate shadows, and summon the Time-Eating Castle.
