I'm kind of in agreement with tumblr that Muscleman becomes a father. Want to see Starla and him have a happy life, especially after how many time Death has been hounding Muscleman over the series.
Was "The End of Muscle Man" supposed to be an obvious and predictable Disney Death / Faking the Dead?
I absolutely loved seeing Muscle Man's mom in the Halloween special. Now we know where he gets his love of pranks from.
It was also nice to see Muscle Man propose to Starla. I had a feeling that those crazy kids would make it. I agree that it would be interesting to see them have a kid. Wanna bet it would be Ugly Cute?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencySigh... I can kind of see why most people on Toon Zone bashed this one royally - it felt a bit contrived and anchored down by the whole thing just being a petty misunderstanding... Seriously, most of the otherwise forgettable and / or polarizing episodes here always seem to be from the same two writers working together when they get writing opportunities. Too bad I still feel it's being bashed just because of Muscle Man, period, and nothing else.
In short - Meh, I've seen better than this. And I've definitely seen far worse than this, too, that I would never watch again. I also think they should lay off Muscle Man for awhile to calm down the haters, as well as also knowing there are other better character who could benefit from some of the otherwise decent to awesome enough development Muscle Man has been getting.
IMHO, Rigby and his relationship with Eileen could stand to get some serious forward momentum, for example. Even though I'd rather see something more crazy and interesting happen next time, instead.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.I'm not saying that I dislike Muscle Man, but I'd like to see less focus on him.
THIS. Indefinitely. Anything to make Season 6's overall reception a little bit better.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.×3 I actually kind of enjoyed this episode, it was in character for Muscle Man...and Starla, who clearly loves him for who he is and doesn’t want him to change. Sure, he acted like a dick, but that’s Muscle Man. I can handle that. HFG forgave him because it’s just him being him. And the others (especially Benson) were justly pissed-off at him.
But...yes. Too much Muscle Man can get to be...too much. I also agree that some development on the Rigby/Eileen front would not be unwelcome. I get that they’re the B-couple, but I still want to see their day in the spotlight, which is overdue.

Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!I'm curious about the future episode "Benson's Dog".
Why? They don't really have much of a conflict, Eileen's just about the only thing that gets Rigby to stop acting like... well, Rigby.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great@Bananaquit - Know this much about me, m8 - I don't hate Muscle Man and/or Starla. I just hate seeing them overused when other, unfortunately better characters could stand to get more episodes. That's all there is to it.
Hey, if it improves Rigby's character, even just a little - DO IT ANYWAY. I'm sure there are a lot of people who watch this show and hate Rigby just for being himself, unfortunately... My real concern is why, honestly. It's not like Mordecai is any less a slacker and has shown to screw up with girls royally. I think for certain reasons alone, they're both equally hard to like at first, but easy enough to relate to at most.

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Mordecai is more likable as he never had any real "jerk" moments (although the beginning of Death Punchies MAY qualify, and then there's Think Positive, but Mordecai and Rigby act so out of character that i dont know what was going on with that episode), compared to Rigby who always tries to take the easy way out and is less willing to own up to his problems. As for his relationship problems, while he did act ridiculously awkward with Margaret, he's much better with CJ (its almost as if he realized his past problems with Margaret, though he did have a few awkward moments with her at first).
It was that he outright realized his own mistakes with her really. I remember an episode making a point of his character development there and part of what encouraged him to just make the move with CJ as opposed to dicking around.
I actually wouldn't mind some more focus here and there with Rigby & Eileen. I feel like there has been subtle development that's been going on there that's just not being explored. We've seen them with a focus episode before too, the one where Rigby was sucking at the fitness test & Eileen tried to help him out there, so we know they can build on things there with it in the spotlight.
Improving as an author, one video at a time. It's funny, in this latest episodes effort to make Rigby more sympathetic, they kind of made Mordecai come off as an ungrateful ass.
Had a lot of catching up to do with the show, and I still haven't seen all the new episodes so far. I didn't expect Muscle Man's mom to actually show up in the Halloween episode because I thought she'd be the character that would never show up despite getting mentioned. Mordecai's line about telling scary stories was also good.
I liked how they handled the appearance of Muscle Man’s mom, especially her dialogue. “You know who ELSE likes pranking people on Halloween? ME!”
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!It was a kind of dull special this year.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceAlthough I like Regular Show, I get the feeling that the novelty is wearing out now.
Agreed.
I have to wonder if she often references herself in the same vein Muscle Man would refer to her.

Even though most of the episodes we've seen this season have been decent to excellent, im kind of disapointed we havent seen any real villains this season (aside from the scary movie segment of the halloween special). I like seeing how the characters deal with the various demons, monsters, and madmen/women that show up, and how certain characters end up stopping them (everyone from mordecai and rigby to benson to thomas to CJ has had their chance at being the hero). Im not saying that every episode should be like that, but it is part of the shows appeal.
I miss the madcap randomness this show use to have. A GIANT COFFEE BEAN THAT MADE COFFEE FROM IT'S BREASTS AND ALL WHILE "Loverboy" IS PLAYING?! OSCAR GOLD AWARD, BABY!!!
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceGeez, already we see that this Joanne is a bigger bitch than that illiterate cake lady.
And Margaret's back? Hoo boy.

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefAs a former College RA, she reminds me of some of my old residents.
Kind of like this implication that Rigby did a lot of growing up off screen while Mordecai was having all of his relationship drama.
Apparently the next episode "The Real Thomas" seems to suggest that Thomas may actually be a bad guy. Or will this turn out to be a Red Herring?
Or mabey suggests that Thomas is more than just a push over. So yeah, mabey a bad guy.

Sigh... And yet, everyone on Toon Zone hates this latest episode just because of Muscle Man, as well as Muscle Man in general. Brilliant....
It's hard to find something just okay when you're surrounded like that.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.
