Sam Riegel and Orion Acaba are back as Nick and Apollo respectively. Rayfa's English VA is suspected to be Brina Palencia (which is possible given her increasing video game roles and recurring character in Durarara's second season).

And yet another game I'm missing out on since I can't buy stuff from the E-Shop because it never accepts my card even though I tend to have more than enough money in the bank. I really wish they would stop making the games digital only.

So after data mining the files there's one more returning character. PM me to find out.

Man, the anime has gotten so much better now that it's playing with the order of events. Today's episode was really good. I love how the epic objections can create a huge amount of wind and light and no one once questions it.

I was slightly disappointed with today's episode because it didn't show the little flashback to the accident where we get to hear Vasquez freaking out which I think is pretty important to her character.

I'm not a fan of the "Phoenix points and Gale force winds rip through the area" thing they're doing, either.

At this rate, 2-4 will end with Phoenix pointing at the culprit and causing a localized hurricane.

i hate justice for all's 4th case

the investigation phase is so damn unintuitive

and i feel obligated to complain about that one time in the trial where you're asked if you have any evidence to present to avoid a game over, but it doesnt actually give you any hints at any point, so you're just supposed to know to present the wine glass, out of everything else in your rather bloated inventory.

oldbag remains one of my favourite witnesses in the series though.

it hasn't been mentioned here yet,but both Dual Destinies and Trilogy are being discounted until Thursday on Eshop.

I would get both games (and I just did.) ASAP if I were you.

I want this Figma soooooo much.

Wait a minute... when Apollo says "confront the familiar" in that trailer, is he being literal?

Because we see the outline of a person, with a glowing butterfly on the shoulder... in a place where mysticism is very real... in a series where cross-examining a parrot has happened more than once.

More importantly, does this mean that Apollo suspects the butterfly?

Wouldn't be the first time we had a case in which a spellcaster's familiar was an important point.

Someone managed to upload Maya's theme from Spirit of Justice.

This episode, Akio Ōtsuka is a very good VA, but... I still miss von Karma's satanic "OBJECTION."

Tossing this up, in case anybody hasn't seen it.

My guess for the character, having gone through process of elimination, is Maggey.

Hmm... Yeah, Maggey sounds like the prime candidate there. Nobody else in AAI whose name starts with M overlaps into main Ace Attorney. So does that mean... we can finally see the return of Gumshoe as well?!

Well, some do. Edgeworth's Japanese name includes the name Mitsurugi, for example.

Well, I checked through all the characters that appear in both Investigations titles. Checked their Japanese names too since that's the one that's important.

The characters from Ace Attorney that appear in Investigations are (aside from some of the obvious and as far as I can tell) Mike Meekins, Regina Berry, Frank Sahwit, Will Powers, Lotta Hart, and Penny Nichols.

If you take this video to mean Edgeworth and Maya are out of the running, all's that's left is Maggey and Penny.

And ehhhh... I imagine they'd shoot for Maggey since she's way more important than Penny.

Penny would be hilarious though. It also reveals that she was secretly the mastermind behind DL-6, the reason for Kristoph's black psyche-locks, the sniper who shot the phantom, and the heart disease that afflicted Sasha and Azura.

Kristoph's Black Psyche Locks are because Penny cheated him out of some rare Steel Samurai cards.
