Some ten years ago, I found a Hungarian Fallout fansite that had a long list of hilarious "reverse wishes", ie. wishes that are actually curses, done Fallout style.

Off the top of my head, I only remember one: "May you get jacked off with a Power Fist!"

EDIT: I found the site! The full list is here, translated for your amusement:

May you be worth 50 XP!

May you win a beauty pageant in Gecko!

May you be a slaver in the NCR!

May you be protected by the Bishop family!

May you be Metzger's guest for a long time!

I wish for you to score a critical hit... on the Oil Rig, with your final bullet and into Marcus!

I wish for you to be a sheriff in New Reno!

May you rest in Golgotha!

Be kissed by a Floater!

Be caressed by an Alien!

Be given a hand by a Deathclaw!

You should have been standing underneath the whale.

May your Intelligence be 1 at the Bridge Keeper!

May your favorite pet be the Pariah Dog!

You really should be a grain salesman in Arroyo!

May you lose your Day Pass in Vault City!

May you be called "my little white mouse"... on the Oil Rig!

May your words be recorded onto a holodisk... your last ones, that is.

May Jet be your asthma medication!

You are so smart that your Intelligence is 2 with Mentats.

May the Hubologists perform your last rites.

Handsome guy. Not even a level 2 implant can drop his charisma.

May you get a light from a fire gecko.

May you be greeted with a gun salute... at Navarro.

May you sleep on the top deck when the ship launches!

May Myron be your best marksman!

May the Mentats expire during the countdown!

May Marcus be your partner... in a New Reno porn movie!

May ASH-9 be your confessor.

May your last save be two months old!

May you find a rocket launcher in the desert... with a Strength of 2!

May your eye get shined into by a laser rifle!

May you always find water whenever you are thirty... water that already shines from a long distance so that you can notice it better.

May you become the solution... without rubber boots!

May your mind be illuminated by a Molotov cocktail!

May you handstand like Frank Horrigan!

May you wear power armor when you're set upon by diarrhea!

May the sun always shine upon you... without an ozone layer!

May your teeth shine... at the bottom of a cactus.

May you earn two million... in Broken Hills, cleaning the stables.

May you take a shower next to the outhouse in Modoc!

May you sunbathe on the aft of the ship after the Oil Rig!

You communicate so well... you convince the Stone Head not in 12 hours but 12 days.

May you be called "sweetheart" publicly by Mrs. Bishop!

May you thaw out like the cryofrozen soldier in the SAR!

Be selfless and donate... to the Vault City sperm bank!

May you always have rubber glue, so that you can fix your girlfriend!

May you become like the Redding sheriff! Lame!

May you always be in the center. Of a circle made of Centaurs!

May you sit on the Modoc loo when it goes off!

Three-Dog? Nice. I forget, wasn't there a cameo by another canon character?

There was Gary. And I think I saw something about an Elder Scrolls VA showing up for that Lore series.

[up]And so another good season comes to and end... Thanks for introducing me to this channel man, appreciated!

Until Fallout 4 is announced, I'd recommend fans to try giving the first two games a shot, they may have not aged greatly but there is a hidden gem, I had a blast. (The upcoming Mad Max seems also seems like another way to scratch your post-apocalyptic stitch)

What does everyone want to see in Fallout 4?

Obsidian getting an actual budget and time to make the game.

Which is already unlikely, so I try not to hope for much else.

A blend of both Fallout 3 and New Vegas. But in an engine that doesn't fall over and die every few hours in a playthrough.

Obsidian's NOT going to get the gig to do Fallout 4 - that ship's probably sailed anyway due to how pissed off and angry they are that Bethsoft did them out of bonus moneys thanks to a Metacritic score only one point fewer than the contract they signed demanded of them. (Of course, they DID sign the contract, so it's their fault for getting blinded by the dollar signs they could have made if things had gone perfectly for them instead of either getting a better up-front deal or telling Bethesda where to go if they didn't get it.)

They might get the Gaiden Game gig, a New Vegas 2 if you will, but even that's highly unlikely at this stage. Obsidian are doing their own successful thing at the moment and probably don't need the hassle of appeasing both a rabid fanbase and rabid publishers in the shape of Zeni Max Media.

Some kind of New Vegas 2 would be nice, with some more snark and black humour, so I guess I'd basically like a blend of New Vegas and Fallout 2. Probably not gonna happen though.

I'm trying not to think of what the story could be, it probably won't measure up to New Vegas, for me at least. For the engine, I'm hoping for stuff like in the Skyrim engine; dual wielding, maybe a better way of leveling up... oh, and hopefully better stealth.

I love New Vegas, a lot actually. That's backed up by the ever increasing number of hours ticked off in my Steam library's entry for the game. But it's Fallout 3 that convinced me to give the franchise a third try after I had a go at both Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 and really didn't see anything worth picking out to like among the disappointment I felt with my purchase of both games.

Compared to other RP Gs I had been playing at the time they were technically backward and seemed to delight in it.

Fallout 3? Once I had finished the opening sequence, which you should really be able to skip in its entirety on a second playthrough given that you can rebuild your character just before you exit Vault 101, and walked out into the Capital Wasteland, I felt that I had come home.

It was the transition to the third dimension that swung it for me, much as it was GTA III's adoption of that same thing which made me like the Grand Theft Auto universe's installments since. Well, most of them anyway... It gave the game weight.

What I personally would really love for a future installment of the franchise, post-Fallout 4, would be if Zeni Max Media managed to snatch the STALKER franchise from the idiot who currently owns it and killed STALKER 2 for some idiot reason or other, and managed to weld both of them together in a game that showed how the Resource Wars kicked off, and how the Zone's influence stopped Russia from being the U.S. nation's main enemy in the Great War.

Playing Fallout 2. Is there someplace I can easily obtain minigun ammo? Damn thing runs out pretty fast, but I found tons of ammo in the first game, mostly thanks to the gun runners. It's almost Too Awesome to Use.

Wasn't it said that Bethesda was doing the numbered Fallout titles and Obsidian would do the non-numbered ones?

[up][up][up] Try the weapons merchants in NCR or San Francisco. Their inventory replenishes every couple of days or so.

Otherwise the random encounters may provide guys from whom you can loot ammo, especially between NCR, New Reno and San Francisco.

So...does this mean The Storyteller was Tallius?

It's possible. He might have lied about Tallius still being with the Followers. What interests me is the song at the end. That was hilarious, because they used the tune to Charlie Daniels' Uneasy Rider songs. There were two of them about a guy stopping at a bar during a long trip. One version has him driving alone and running into a hick bar where he had to talk his way out of a beating. The other has him unwittingly going to a gay bar with a male friend, who dances with a "woman" who's later revealed to be a man. Both amusing, if you can overlook the stereotypical Country prejudices from that era.
