If Giselle does die (before Zombietta), then I think it's pretty clear Zombietta will follow suit. I doubt she'll return to normal if she really was killed by Giselle.
And the only reason I'm expressing some suspicion over her death is, again, because of the Plot Hole regarding her powers still being in use.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Giselle will die first, freeing Bambietta from her control. Since she's undead, she's free of Yhwach's will and curse. She turns to the good guy side, fights Yhwach and after everything is over she settles down with Komamura and has a hundred beautiful children with him.
Serocco, please stop calling it a plot hole.

All I'm saying is, if Kubo were really done with BG9, that'd be the perfect place to reveal it, like he did with Nirgge's (Omaeda's Fake Karakura opponent) name.

That last is definitely Joking Mode, but honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if at least the first part (freed from Giselle's control) is true.
Bleach, despite its many flaws, is pretty consistently unpredictable regarding its side characters.
Oh, well, I'm only considering it a Plot Hole because I find it hard to believe Giselle's Zombie can bypass Yhwach's assimilation.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. It'd be a pretty terrible power if the person it was used on couldn't use the abilities they had in life. And if it wasn't supposed to be used to raise the dead then why call it the Zombie when otherwise it's just mind control?
Well, again, my problem is that I'm fixated on Yhwach being able to assimilate Quincies when they die. It's hard for me to imagine The Explode being as effective when used by a corpse.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. It's likely not to work as well, no. Whether that's because the power is less or because the user is likely brainless is the real question, though. And I doubt she can, say, use Vollstandig in her condition.
It could be Yhwach knows what Giselle did and is just letting her get away with it for now as he may feel an undead Bambietta could be a useful soldier in keeping the shinigami distracted.
If she uses Vollstandig as Zombietta, I'm calling bullshit. Unless that means she's not actually dead. Which is still bullshit. <.<
Going back a few pages ago, I think the main reason why Gremmy killed himself was because Kubo didn't like the idea of having Kenpachi kill a kid. Hence the Brain in a Jar ordeal, as it dehumanizes the kid and "allows" him to die.
A similar scenario is present with female characters. Usually, when a female character dies in Bleach, it's a Kick the Dog moment done by a Hollow or a Bad Boss (ala Szayelaporro). Some are killed after they are similarly dehumanized (Lilynette) or off-screen (Cirucci and Bambietta) against their supposed comrades.
So, if it is true that Giselle is male, Yumichika will kill her. Both the brain and trap scenarios are Kubo's ways of weaseling around that by having them die without it being infanticide or male on female violence. Now, if Giselle is female (or at least not confirmed to be male), then it's possible that Zombietta will get her killed.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Kubo has good guys kill kids. Off the top of my head, Wonderweiss and Lilynette were both considered children.
Well, Wonderweiss and Lilynette were both "Dehumanized" via the latter turning into a pair of guns and the former turning into a tentacle creature.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. You can make justifications all you like, but just because Kubo doesn't kill off girls and kids quite as often doesn't mean he won't do it. They just don't appear as much to begin with.
It is a well-known trope for a dubiously acceptable target to monsterify or whatever so its okay to kill them.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAnd that's the main point I'm trying to make. They may still be kids, but as long as they don't look like kids, it's apparently okay to kill them.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.As Lilynette pointed out, they weren't even really children to begin with, they just had the appearances of them.
I've been working under the assumption that an arrancar's appearance has more to do with their personality or mindset that fits them best, and after taking a human form they don't age. Who knows how old any of them really were.

Like dumbass Captain Tuberculosis, standards and practices and whatever care more about appearance than substance. If something looks like a kid, it totally is a kid and you can't just straight up murder an enemy kidbatant! You have to fart around and let them change into something less objectionable like a horrible pulsating monster or guns.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAt least one enemy is healed by Orihime every arc. In the Soul Society arc, it was the Shinigami. In the Hueco Mundo arc, it was Grimmjow, Loly, Menoly, Harribel and the Tres Bestias (if you go by Nestle to Night). In the Lost Agent arc, it was Riruka. In this arc, nobody yet.
Could that be another one of Kubo's tradition-buckings? Perhaps.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Ahem. Well, Mareyo looks like a kid, and Kubo had no qualms about skewering her like a kebab. And she wasn't 'dehumanized' either. If Soi Fon didn't make her intervention on time, she may very well have been offed.
Now, crazy crossover hijinks!
Meninas has magenta hair, and her ability's The Power. Clearly◊, she's Mio's older sister!
Eh, if Giselle is trans, I kinda doubt person from Japanese society who writes action comic for teenagers is going to do it tastefully But yeah, stupid people who are hurt by her being "trap"(thats such an offensive term), shes still cute regardless of it. People should be more confident about their sexuality if that is enough to make them go crazy
Hello. I don't know if the problem was already addressed here, but just in case, I'll copy/paste the discussion topic I created on the character page of Bleach Vandenreich, following the suggestion of Septimus Heap:
Hello,
The following entry was added to Giselle's character page:
- Creepy Crossdresser: Yumichika suggests that she's a man since she reeks of semen. Though the accusation does press her Berserk Button, Giselle doesn't confirm it and clearly identifies as female.
However, it seems that there is a mistranslation of the chapter on the internet. According to someone who read the original chapter in japanese, Yumichika does say that she stinks and that she can't hide the smell from him (alluding to the fact that she is a zombie), but he definitly doesn't say that she smells like semen (it seems that it is a common translation mistake though).
It might be a good idea to confirm/infirm this and to correct this entry if necessary.
It does seem kind of out of place for Bleach as a whole. If anyone has the raws we could ask Lu.
We had a discussion in here about that, including a cited japanese dictionary that it does in fact mean semen.

Hmmm, by the way, I'm noticing a pretty distinct case of "meh" from most forummers here with the Zombietta ordeal. Probably because Zombietta was called by so many people. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, though; it's just an observation. I'm not seeing that many express pity/sympathy for Zombietta, and I'm seeing more people concern themselves with Male Giselle than anything else.

I don't care at all about Giselle's character. She's rather boring. I feel no sympathy for Bambietta, since she really wasn't the nicest person around.
'Ey yo Bambietta, I'm real happy for you and all, and I'mma let you finish, but As Nodt is the best Bleach zombie of all time! Of all time!
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."
The fact that we don't know what K stands for is somewhat indicative that BS9 may be coming back, but K's omission from those sketches doesn't really imply anything either way.
