If that's so, then I'll need an "Everything Looks like A Nail" texture pack. :3 (Or ELAN for short.)

Hammer's would be fun, they could be both a weapon and a tool in one.

More damage than a sword? Or at least an ax. It'd probably use four minerals to make the head.

Less damage then a sword but has a charge like the bow that has a bigger critical and mines faster but doesn't give you the block.

The only texture pack I've ever liked was a Legend of Zelda pack, and that was abandoned by its creator quickly. Other Lo Z packs... are kinda ugly. :(

So, I think I've thought of the perfect, impenetrable fortress. The only way to get in from the outside is the following:

1) (Industrialcraft) plant a nuke very quickly.

1a) Disable the powersource. But that requires either a jetpack or...

2) (Thaumcraft) use either the sword of the zephyr with great alacrity or a magic carpet.

3) get an insider's help.

My thoughts are along these lines:

(Thaumcraft) Creating a portal network would get you a very hard-to-reach place, high up, possibly even out of sight, but still allow access, and can be put on any surface. Floor, wall, or ceiling, which brings me to...

(IC 2: Forcefields) A directional forcefield allows a temporary platform to be made, which can act as a landing platform for a guest or the owner. A spherical forcefield acts as a defense against anyone trying to get in from outside, and a Zapper upgrade allows it to kill any intruders. But then, how to get in? Surely someone has to be inside to let you in! That's why you use...

(Wireless Redstone) A transmitter and receiver. The receiver activates the landing platform.

But you might ask how that keeps people out if the button is free for anyone to get to.

Install a failsafe. A block on a sticky piston in the activated position will send a redstone signal through. Alternatively, use a wireless redstone jammer, which will keep the forcefield from being made in the firstplace.

But one other problem can arise. If someone activates a signal jammer while the owner is away, then no-one can enter.

I can guess that the seals used in Thaumcraft will be kept in the new version, which is most likely going to be multiplayer compatible, so should this be run, I will be trying to make this. >:3

I found a texture pack I've fallen in love with

Ahhh, summerfilds. My personal favorite.

Huh, I'm gonna have to check that guy out, I liked his review style. Also, that texture pack looks really nice. Quite relaxing.

I'm also a huge fan of his review style and his videos in general.

I especially liked his unabashed enthusiasm when he shows off the signs.

Agreed, he has big teddy bear vibe to him.

So I found out that the texture pack from above works fine with the current technic pack build. But I am considering taking up texturing to make it more compatible.
