Some are (even on this very wiki) calling her a scrappy. I might be reading into her as a Mary Sue but she is there to screw with the same but more and "We need a new character" otaku (and network execs too). And the director wants to screw/play with the fans. All the ingredients of a Scrappy sammich.
I admit my otaku-fangirliness, that's why I like her.
Windows VISTA. I liked it. No seriously. I downloaded AVG free, Firefox and other proggies that made up for the holes in Vista. I liked that Lview Pro still worked, as did Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament. I hate Windows 7. HATE IT.
Vista wasn't perfect but it was nowhere as near the middle finger to the user that 64 bit Windows 7 is. There are programs I paid for that Vista let me run. I use them because I know them and I already spent the money. Also I have never had a virus since the 90's (I got it from a PC in high school, yes I am old). Vista let me run old proggies without DOS box. Windows help, I miss that, I'll admit it.
So now I'm using Windows 7. *grumblegrumble* I hate that some games (Ut2k4) can't load new levels, others need DOS Box and many features I liked are gone. Vista had a nice file manager. It did some odd things but I got used to it. I don't like that copying under Win7 is a chore.
Vista could have been patched and Windows 7 could have been given more features. Windows 8 is looking like the Wesley Crusher of O Ses.

All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48If I'm seeing a pattern, I think Charlotte from Revolution is turning into The Scrappy pretty quick. She's supposed to be the main character of the show, and that is not a good sign.
Why? Well, apparently, the reasons go like this:
- She's a whiny brat. Actually, she's around 20 years old, but her level of maturity doesn't match up.
- She insisted that this one bounty hunter be spared, and her partner went with her demand reluctantly. This naturally came back to bite them in the rears pretty hard.
- She treats her roughly 17 year old brother like a baby that needs constant supervision. It's true that she made a promise 15 years ago to look after him, but she seems to have taken it to heart too much. Furthermore, Danny may have asthma, but he seems able to take care of himself.
With all that said, she has been able to kill off 2 guys when push came to shove. She also appeals to the shallow side of guys. Besides, the show hasn't run its course yet, so she might get some Character Development!
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!Off the top of my head, Scrappy Doo is adorable and not a bad person, and Kairi's kinda cool, and that's why I like them.
Thank you! Scrappy-Doo seems comparable to the Cutie Mark Crusaders, in the sense that they are small, adorable, and get disproportionate hatred. Honestly, Scrappy should be given a medal!
Oh, yeah, and I'm hearing that Danny from Revolution is turning into The Scrappy. Why? Well, it turns out that his father told him to not resist the militia, but he did, and the attack resulted in his father getting killed and Danny getting captured. Danny has been shown to be young, rebellious, and totally unafraid to get into a fight and be frank, which some people would say is stupid and aggravating.
First off, I would like to say that Danny is 17 years old and is basically an older teenager. This means that characters like Danny are prone to being brave and stupid. Besides, most people seem to have a hard time relating to teenagers, despite having been teenagers themselves.
It's not like he was trying to get his father killed on purpose! On one side, you could say that giving Captain Neville a Shut Up, Hannibal! response to his face, telling Neville to either kill him on the spot or give him water when one soldier refused to, and then strangling that one soldier who's being The Bully without killing him and in front of everyone was idiotic. On the other side, I would say that he's challenging authority, and trying to prove that nobody's going to tell him what to do, break him, intimidate him, push him around, as well as standing up for himself!
No, I don't see Danny as The Scrappy. I see him as a young guy who's doing his best to prove that he's not afraid to take a stand. I have to respect that!

Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!I really don't understand the hate for poor old Scrappy. I just don't. People disliking him yeah, but him being the epitome of horrible? I don't get it. I also don't mind Jar Jar or the Ewoks, and I never knew these guys were hated until my arrival on this website. Oh well.
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.I like Shirou from Fate Stay Night, and I don't really understand why people hate him.
But well, different tastes and all.
Thank you! I have never had any beef with the Ewoks or Jar-Jar Binks. I find the Ewoks as cute as can be and Jar-Jar Binks serves as Comic Relief. What on earth is wrong with CR?
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee! Some people don't like it! Moar srs, less silly and all of that.
I really liked Kimmy back when Rugrats was showing.
I also liked Ginny. I'm kind of lukewarm towards her now but I still don't get all the hate.
Dawn's Piplup is cute I don't get way Ash needed to catch a Gibble just to have it make his life hell.
also what on earth is Asokia doing on the list?
I liked Near. He's not terribly hated, but there's a pretty vocal faction that was upset about his replacing L after he died. I agree that Near's a bit too similar to L to be a fresh character, and that he was an annoying little jackass, but I like him anyway.
Also, the aforementioned Shinji Ikari. The whining doesn't really bother me, since I find it kind of justified considering all the wretched crap he's been through, but eh.
make it through this year if it kills you yet | 2001-2019I am a Stryker fan. He's the only legitimate Badass Normal in the entire series and yet people hate him.
And I agree on the Near front.
"You'd never do something as irrational as dying."Have you seen this clip on You Tube?
A number of characters on that clip don't count as The Scrappy, because they're villains. TS occurs when you hate a character that you aren't expected to hate. Villains, by definition, are supposed to be hated!
I don't have a problem with Mr. Dream, even if he comes as a Replacement Scrappy for some. I like Toad, because he beat Wario in Warios Woods, didn't he? I think Slippy Toad was intended to be Plucky Comic Relief, but people seem to hate PCR! I have no problem with Duck Hunt Dog.
I don't hate Tingle, as astonishing as that may sound. I think he's an Adult Child.
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!Dubstep seems to be a scrappy genre so I came here to express my like for it.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."
I don't really think Mari is a scrappy.
And I personally think you're overthinking things. She seems to be there to appeal to the stereotypical Otaku nowadays more than anything. xD
The Poochie comparison is win though! XD
