This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

I would like to edit again but I need to learn more about some issues. I think grammar and identation issues are my main problems. Can you unblock me later because I need some time to learn and fix my issues. I am a "trial-and-error" person.

My mistake, I sort of started the edit war with myself having made a second edit, which was incorrect. Another troper must have corrected my mistake and got it flagged by you guys.
In regards to the other point I think I may have been looking at a site-wide index, not data specifically related to my account. So you can ignore this one now.

I am terribly sorry for not following the rule involving the "percent" symbol. I am somewhat new to this site and am still learning the rules when it comes to editing.

I've received "some" notices about Word Cruft and trope misuses and stuff, but I thought I stopped that, but clearly I haven't gotten it right. I thought I did, but clearly I don't.

Could I please have a response to my last post? I was not aware that an edit to one of my own edits would have been classed as an edit war. I'll try to get it right first time in future.
Okay, so.... what about me? I mean... I know I fucked up with the ZCE's, and I apologize for that. It's just, I like editing on the wiki and want to try making entries not commented out. Plus, I can't do the Trope Pantheon stuff while edit suspended (I know, not a major concern) and now that I'm edit suspended I see a shitton more grammar/spelling errors on pages now and can't fix them ![[lol]](https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lol2v12_4863.png "[lol]"){kind=small}

And making a Useful Notes page on Feminism isn't an agenda? What does a "Useful Notes" page on Feminism have to do with fictional media and idioms? I thought TV Tropes was supposed to a place for people around the the world to talk about fictional material, not political movements? When I post something that pertains to the subject to incite discussion, you don't like it.
I don't think that's the case at all. I think it's made you and others uncomfortable because could it just be there is some truth to it? I believe what you don't tolerate is a dissenting viewpoint, not "external agendas".
Also, it does no good to send PM's when I can't answer them.

There is everything to respond to! This is a discussion forum, you can't just blow me off when I do my best to provide legitimate reasoning. And I still need you to explain the event where I was banned before the relevant discussion even happened and turned out half and half.
And who among the moderation staff feels that I should be let back in? Minority or not, it'd be nice if I heard from someone who thinks my repeated appeals are worth something.

You created the page as well as a "discussion" page about it, not me. Don't blame me for the problem you created.

I can understand Useful Notes pages on real things like Cities, Countries, Objects, and Historical Figures and the like, you know, FACTS for authors to get their stories right. But when you take something abstract like "Feminism" and make a Useful Notes page on it like it's absolutely, unquestionably true, you're only going to create more trouble and problems for yourselves like this. The page should be cut if you're going to ban people for inciting discussion.

That's fine to be skeptical, but then I ask what's the point of a "discussion" page? I still think it's a matter of me posting a viewpoint that made others uncomfortable and instead of facing it, you seek to censor and ban the person who posted it, me in particular.
The entries I deleted were titles that had no corresponding pages on this wiki. I thought that was accepted practice, though I'll now admit that I shouldn't have assumed as much. It certainly was not my intent to vandalize.
And I actually thought that I had made a note about this on the discussion page when I did the edit.
