This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Tropershaped, you repeatedly tried to enter an example of Unfortunate Implications on YMMV.Firefly without listing citations for the reasons it should apply, which is required for that trope to be used on any page. I also saw some nattery tone in some of your edits, including a couple of third-level bullets (*** [entry]) on Characters.Firefly, which is only kosher in very specific circumstances.

It says "come and talk to us" and contains a link to this thread. It does not say "Go air your grievances in Ask The Tropers and look for other tropers to sympathize."
Now:
Your PM ability was suspended because of the rude and hostile P Ms you sent regarding edits you didn't like made to a page that you apparently think is yours to control because it's about a fic you wrote. Please read The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours. It's not your page. You do not get final say over what is or is not included on it.
You wiki privileges were suspended because instead of coming here to appeal the suspension, you went to Ask The Tropers and raged.

Why couldn't someone have just told me that? No-one on Ask the Troopers told me about this place until it was too late. I had no idea where to go, and no-one would help me.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone. Can you please tell me what I need to do to get un-banned? I've tried very hard to be civil about this, especially since I'm dealing with someone who will not let a two-year argument go.
I realize it isn't my page, it's just that this guy... He reopened an argument that was so old, that he will not accept is over, and he was just as rude. I don't think I'm on the same page as anyone I try to explain it to.

Ok, I was in error. The message that PM's are turned off does not contain a link to this thread. We need to fix that.

Your PM's were turned off because of the ones you sent regarding the page for the fic you wrote. You wrote the work the page is about, yes, but that does not give you any more right to control the content than any other editor. Nor does someone else's behavior excuse yours.
Your wiki editing was turned off because you were edit-warring and trying to claim ownership of a works page.
If the same issue did indeed come up before, that's all the more reason to take it to the discussion page and sort it out there, not edit war over it on the main page.
Raging on Ask The Tropers didn't help, but there, I must acknowledge that you got some bad advice from the folks who said it was the place to address the PM suspension.
I've read your explanation. Looking at his edits, he was certainly correct about two of them: Painful Transformation is about shapeshifting —physical transformation only— (Mind Rape might be a better fit) and Dangerously Genre-Savvy is limited to villains using Genre Savvy (A hero can be Genre Savvy) . I don't know the work well enough to know if Batman Gambit fits, because that requires that the character using it has built their plan around a specific person doing a specific thing. As it's written, it does not sound like an example, "because he knew she'd do "something" in response" is too vague.
What I need to know is whether you will stop trying to control the content of the work's page, and whether you will remember that PMs are not exempt from the expectation of civility and behave accordingly.

I'm fine with that. I never wanted to start an argument to begin with, but as you said, no-one was helping.
If I may say just one thing in my defense. I was never trying to claim ownership of the page. Seriously. I don't know where they got that.
But if you think I was "trying to control" it, I can easily stop doing so.

Anyway, let me explain the Painful Transformation thing. In the content of the fic, the character in question was indeed physically changed using a combination of surgery, alchemy, and magic, which was described as horrendous torture, that not only shaped the body, but the mind as well turning her from a normal human to something more demon than human with incredibly powerful abilities of dark sorcery. Over a period of six months (in the backstory) she was transformed from a common peasant girl to something resembling the typical Evil Sorceress. (Yeah, there was probably a lot of Mind Rape involved, but it wasn't just the mind.)
And if I recall, I didn't add that edit myself.

Ok.
Edit the Painful Transformation entry to say that. That additional information does make it sound like it fits.
And if someone is doing something you disagree with, don't get in a fight with them, on the wiki or in PMs. Take it to the discussion page for a wiki example, and sort it out there, or bring it up in Ask The Tropers, so that the mods can take look at it. If it's in PMs, use ATT or Holler to a mod so we can look into what's going on.
