This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

I am aware that you are not inclined to restore editing privileges to third-time violators. To date, my privileges have been suspended going on two weeks. If possible, I would like another opportunity to continue editing again in a manner consistent with forum rules. While I will do my best now on to comply, I will not protest nor appeal your decision to ban my editing privileges permanently should I fail to do so once more. Thank you for your consideration.

I've been suspended 3 times, the first one was for page blanking, the second time was for tampering with an editor's note and this time for unathorised Complete Monster edits. To show that I won't do it again here are some edits I was planning to make before I got suspended, I'd like to know if these edits would be valid, and if not I won't edit those pages.
First of all I think Rory Williams should be removed from the Pretty Boy page, he's just average looking. The article mentions the Tardis calling him "the pretty one" but the Doctor thinks she's joking, and as for the Fanservice Pack, wearing tight jeans and hair gel doesn't make him a pretty boy.
Next up is an article on Berserk's fridge horror page, "•Even though Rosine and Jill were best friends, and Rosine wanted to take Jill with her to her next Crapsaccharine World, she most likely did it so that she may sacrifice Jill to the Godhand to renew her life since she was losing badly against Guts." Whoever posted that article's assuming a lot there. Rosine seems to genuinely believe that she's an elf so it's likely that she wouldn't know that she'd be able to renew her life by sacrificing a loved one. So if I get my editing rights back can I remove that article or at least post my opinion?
I've got one more thing to ask, as I said I know now that adding or removing complete monsters isn't allowed but what about editing the article but not adding or removing any characters, would that be okay? When I made those edits I'd previously edited the Wreck-It Ralph page and there's an editors note saying not to add Turbo, so that made me think it would be okay to edit other Complete Monster articles if there wasn't any warning.

Witch Of The Absolute: This is not the place to list edits you want someone to make for you because you're suspended. There is no proper place for that. And we aren't going to just keep on giving you chances to prove you've changed when you've been suspended twice in a year for doing the same thing. The first time, you pleaded ignorance of the rules. That excuse doesn't work the second time. You're editing privileges aren't going to be reinstated.

We don't usually go in for "someone hacked my account" or "It was someone else using my computer" excuses. If that is the case then since your account isn't secure it will need to be locked down completely for security reasons.

Hello there, I found out that I was suspended from editing this evening. I have a theory as to why (I think it's concerning an entry I wrote on the Church of Happyology page. I later removed it in case it would earn TV Tropes HQ backlash from certain people; by the way, I apologise if it did cause trouble for you), though could you please confirm the reason with me?
