Don't be silly. They'll make it a completely different mangling of the name. Like Arthuria.

[up][up] "Arthuria" would be at least passable as a neologized feminine counterpart to "Arthur" as a modern English name. It's not like the historical King Arthur was actually called "Arthur" back in the day, because that name simply didn't exist yet.

Hell, we have an actual historical example of this: "Mark Anthony" was never known by that name until many centuries later, when the English anglicized his actual name (Marcus Antonius) for convenience.

Dude, if you make it make sense they'll change it to something even stupider.

Regardless of your opinion of the last American election, we can all agree on one thing- The Chinese Communist Party can choke on scrotes!

[up][up] Then let's just drown them in sensible alternatives until they give up!

[up] ... Then you could've potholed Joking Mode in "mangling" or something, because it certainly seemed you meant that seriously.

I think you're just Sarcasm-Blind, buddy.

Anyway, the clear ideal option is to call her Wart.

I'll just start calling her Jerry.

Truth be told she always did come across as a "Jerry".

[up][up] Sarcasm-Blind only applies to constant inability to understand sarcasm, no matter how much you change the method of delivery or the details. I can assure you that it's not the case at all; what's happening is that you're only remembering all the times I failed to get that someone is being sarcastic, because succeeding at doing that is normal and thus simply doesn't stick in one's mind in the long term, with the ultimate result that you've built a hugely skewed image of my sarcasm-perception ability.

[up] So you see her as a mouse?

[up] I'm thinking more that show where people scream "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!"

Never seen it myself but I know the chant.

Marq: You are constantly unable to catch any joke I make, so yes, I'd say calling you sarcasm blind is fair.

[up][up] Yeah I think that's the one.

Huh Artoria's family drama would fit that show.

[up][up] How are you so certain that I've failed to understand every single joke you've made? You wouldn't notice that I've understood one of your jokes if I've neglected to actually make it clear that I did read and understand it, would you? It's all too possible that I did not even notice a joke you made because I skipped the page it was on for one reason or the other.

And besides, remember what I've said about failures being more likely to stick in one's mind than successes; how do you know that all of the jokes you've made that I've failed to understand are the only jokes you've ever made here?

You have a habit of responding to my jokes with confusion, an offended attitude and corrections as though I'm just getting details wrong and such.

We've discussed this before, actually. You said at the time that it was because jokes aren't really structured the same or something where you are.

You know, looking at this image makes me appreciate that Nasuverse hasn't completely fallen into the mindset that Norse mythology was the only thing worth from Northern Europe.

Now to wait for Santa Claus proper.

Credit where credit is due, but Africa and South America are still very white (lel) and there are no heroes from east of Baltic sea: Russian folk heroes, cast of Kalevala, Kalevipoeg, Bear-slayer... maybe. That last one has bear ears (where ears are usually) and there is no way Japanese company will pass up opportunity to make him a filthy catgirl. Which would be SACRILEGE

Also, with their long and rich histories, there got to be greater presentation of Chinese and Romans - not a single Byzantine and where the fuck is Yellow Emperor?

Whoever said that FGO is about to include every mythological and historical hero concieved has no sense of scale. By the time Fate includes everyone, Kinoko Nasu will be old enough to qualify as heroic spirit himself.

Also, I didn't know Sheh is Iranian and Martha comes from Middle East.

Need more South East Asian and I agree with the Kalevala and the Byzantine, though I'm a little iffy with our Leon Isauros. Need someone more like Constantine or Theodosios (either the first or the second).
