I have to agree with you on that.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Good lord, that last Jeanne pic.
Iskander has got a less rugged look that works surprisingly well.
I don't actually like the Iskander pic all that much, just because I think it's swinging in the direction of Bishonen a bit, and he's not a character I could see like that.

The fun bit is that a history buff might tell you that Iskandar and Gilgamesh look like they swapped the historical models around.

If Miyamoto Musashi were a Servant, would he be in the Saber class?
Probably. And his NP would be an Oar.
Thanks
Anyone of the 19th Century who has become a Servant, like say, Abraham Lincoln?
I think that's past the Word of God cutoff point for people becoming Servants that fanfic writers ignore all the time.
Fate/flower shower - Part 4. (3 artworks left)
The art in that new Altria picture is incredible.
Is it wrong that I prefer Prototype!Gilgamesh over FSN!Gilgamesh?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Well... he does have some serious muscles.

I see, but what about people like Napoleon Bonaparte?
The most contemporary Servant we've seen in Mainline Fate has been Sasaki out of all people.
Napoleon probably won't make it but he is certainly deserving of being recognized as a Heoric Spirit.
Tbh, just feel free to think of him only summon-able in Extra.
How exactly is anyone from the 19th Century contemporary?
Compered to all the other Servants? Think about it.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Actually, Jack the Ripper is the most contemporary Servant to be ever summoned in the franchise — barring good ol' Archer, of course. And for all of you who refuse to acknowledge Apocrypha's version of the Ripper, I point you to Fate Strange Fake's version, which is male and much more typically Ax-Crazy.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. He meant just in Fate classic and its tie ins.
If you bring in the extended universe, the most contemporary Servant (not counting Archer) would be Li Shuwen, who died in 1934.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.He isn't crazy...
The Berserker upgrade made him go round the bend back to sane
Compered to all the other Servants? Think about it.
Thought of it, but weren't there people who still fought with swords during the 19th Century, because when I thought off contemporary, I mean someone born in either the 20th or 21st Centuries, like say, Shirou, not anyone who was born and died within anytime in the 19th Century.

The three people that I have seen regularly suggested for the most "contemporary" Heroic Spirits, or at least people who have the potential of becoming one are the Black Swallow of Death Eugene Bullard, the Red Baron Manfred von Richthofen, and the White Death Simo Häyhä. (The first two are from World War I, and the latter from World War II)

Saber and Super Sonico? Intersting choice o_O
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro. From Shockwaver99, Fate/Extra characters designed by individual artists (Takeuchi & Wada). Source: Fate/Extra Material.
Designed by Takeuchi Takashi:
Gawain, Robin Hood, Vlad III, Francis Drake, Li Shuwen, Lu Bu, Buddha, Elizabeth Bathory, Hans C.Andersen, Nero, Tamamo no Mae, & Kiara Sesshouin.
Designed by Wada Arco:
Hakuno Kishinami (Both gender), Twice Pieceman, Leo Harway, Julius Harway, Nursery Rhyme, Alice, Dan Blackmore, Jinako Carigiri, Monji Gatou, Run Ru, BB, Meltlilith, Passionlip, Kazudrop, Kingprotea, Violet, & Rani VIII.
Originally from Takeuchi's (Except Karna) character design, which is adapt design in Fate/Extra by Wada Arco:
Karna, Cu Chulainn, Archer, Gilgamesh, Arcueid Brunestud, Ryougi Shiki, Touko Aozaki Aoko Aozaki, Issei Ryudou, Kotomine Kirei, Rin Tohsaka, Matou Sakura, Taiga Fujimura, & Matou Shinji.
I'm intrigue that Nursery Rhyme is only servant wasn't designed by Takeuchi, check the book and TM wiki, she doesn't have one. While Kiara◊ is only human character designed by Takeuchi.
