This is rather enjoyable, but it does get a bit repetitive.

Def Leppard - "Pour Some Sugar on Me".
Schild und Schwert der Partei80s stadium rock is not my thing in general, but someone needs to give this song in particular a platinum-plated trophy for achievements in not-my-thingness. A whole lot of histrionics fail to cover up a lack of anything resembling substance or energy. 3/10
Tastes better on the way back down.4/10: God, I hate this song. I can't explain why, really, but it's always, always annoying to me.
Bloom's inferior to Teen Dream, but this song's fairly good. Not the best from that album (that would be "Wild"), but quite nice. Victoria Legrand's voice is lovely as always. 7/10
A Tribe Called Quest - Excursions

If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul.7.5/10 - Adequate. I like it.
King Crimson - Neal and Jack and Me
You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here. This is King Crimson at their classic best.

And, since it is the sesquicentennial of the surrender of Robert E. Lee:
US Marine Band - "We are Coming, Father Abraham"
Schild und Schwert der ParteiWow, so people aren't going for that.
Jimmy Bo Horne - "Dance Across the Floor"
Schild und Schwert der ParteiWell, there are periods like that on this thread, where nobody answers for unknown reasons.
About Let's Dance Across the Floor… it's adequate enough. Jazzy, funky, and pretty catchy. I feel like I've heard it a million times, but it's still good on its own.
Rob Dougan - Clubbed to Death (The Matrix OST)
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Never really liked that one to be honest. It's not one of the better Matrix soundtracks.

John Williams - "Star Wars (Main Theme)"
Schild und Schwert der ParteiEdit:
6/10 I'm not really into soundtrack music, but that sounded pretty cool. Since this kind of music is intended to be used as background music to the movie's action, I'm not sure I can properly rate it as a standalone piece of if I needed to hear it in the context of the movie.
That, on the other hand is a soundtrack piece that definitely stands on its own. It deserves its status as an iconic movie theme. 10/10

7/10 Not my most favorite Yes song, but still great.
5/10: White guys being funky usually doesn't work unless you're Talking Heads. This is no exception.
Another green world.4.5/10
Lolwut.
The music is nice and fun and all, but the voices seem designed to give me a headache. Oh dear me.
Anand Tiwari, Kunal Khemu, Raj and DK, Bornalee Deuri - Babaji ki Booti (Herb of the Hermit)
noisivelet naht nuf erom era srorrim4/10 - This is halfway between being annoyingly catchy and just plain annoying. The excessively-autotuned parts kind of tip the balance in the latter direction.
Current 93 - A sad sadness song
You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here.7/10 Not exactly my thing but it succeeds pretty well at what it's going for. I like it when acoustic guitars are used to create a haunting atmosphere.
Blind Guardian - War Of The Thrones
Game of Thrones has been on my mind lately, so here's a song inspired by the same book series.

Medieval Pop! is what I could call it. Pretty strong vocal performance and an instrumentation that makes your mind travel. I wouldn't listen to it all day, but it certainly does its job well.
… Since I'm currently discovering her.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.8/10: Not one of my favorite Bjork songs (from an album of hers that's also not one of my favorites), but still damn good regardless.
Another green world. While not one of the absolute best things the original electronic music robots ever did, this is still a mighty fine song. Really gives you the feeling of drifting around in a speeeicelaaaap, as they put it. 8/10
Speaking of Seventies German music...
Tastes better on the way back down.8.5/10 - Man, Can is so good.
(wanted to post Carl Craig's remix of Can's Future Days but it's not on youtube so, instead...)
You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here.7/10. The beginning was pretty interesting, as was the drumbeat. Not amazing, but still a solid track that'd work well at any party or club.
(Are puush links allowed?)
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."8.3/10 I am totally on board with this smooth, relaxing, yet totally catchy song.
The Waterboys - The Whole of the Moon
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.Not a bad song at all. In fact, one of my favourites. But I'm afraid I'm just too sober to give it its full due by singing along. It's like a slow version of "Tubthumping".

The Crazy World of Arthur Brown - "Fire"
Schild und Schwert der ParteiThis is… a really weird song… at first I found it completely dull and underwhelming for a song about fire and hell, then there's this weird slowdown… but by the end, before I noticed, it had inexplicably become kind of catchy. The trumpets kicking in might have something to do with it. So… mixed impressions. It probably should have been a minute or so longer.
… I haven't heard many songs that were equally singing and rapping, now that I think of it…

7/10. Desolate, for the most part - would work in a space movie where the people are, quite literally, alone for miles and miles around; and yet there are sounds and you just have the feeling that something is around here.
