@Grimview Oh I remember living in Quesnel, my brother went to school in Prince George for a bit was colder there so you have that on me, made me hate the cold even more then I did before .

And now that Spring Break is over,...the homework comes crashing down,...seriously Mid-terms after the break??? What the hell?

I like midterms after spring break. Gives me time to study for them during the break.

What I don't like, however, is midterms just before the finals period. And I mean a week or two before the finals.

Who studies over Spring Break?? That's where you go somewhere and let the brain loose,...that's why before is better,so it's out of the way.

I think midterms about a few days to a week after spring break would be desirable, because it gives you a chance to readjust to school and prepare.

This doesn't apply to our college, though. We're a quarter system, where winter quarter ends at spring break and afterwards we begin spring quarter.

No clue about my histories but my Psychology class is having its exam waaaay after break.

Yes and if you can maybe have a snack during, or at least coffee, or at least that helps me stay awake during I'm not sure about other people.

They're probably not going to give us a spring break next year.

They're planning on renovating part of the college over the summer and they want us out of there as soon as possible, apparently. I think a bunch of people are losing their shit over it. We'll see what happens by next year, I guess.

I did just that. I was actually leaving to get my lunch when I typed that.

I don't like to drink coffee. I take some medication to help me concentrate*

and I'd rather not see what effect it has with coffee. Plus, I can barely stand the smell for some reasons.

On the plus side, your summer vacation starts earlier, no? I say that's a fair trade.

@Mister C Oh I don't like it much either, though no worrying about complications with medicine on my part, it just tastes too bitter for me. But other people use it for a similar purpose.

I'd take the break over the early start.

So I got waitlisted at Brandeis.

What's the likelihood of being taken off the list and accepted, if a couple months later?

What is Brandeis and why a couple months? When does the class start?

Side note: next week is finals for me but this week was pretty bad.

Brandeis University. I hear they send out letters to folks on the waitlist in April and May, at least.

EDIT: For the record, I'm applying to the school. Not for a class.

My assigned Calculus teacher SUCKS. So now I'm switching to another class, but thing is, this one's advanced more, so I have to bridge the gap by myself. In two days.

I decided to withdraw from my science class. Wasn't passing and I didn't want to risk getting a D or a C.
