It's probably just pareidolia, but the visible portion of the inverted SOS symbol looks like a winged creature with a long neck about to take flight. It's like a crimson dragon-crane or something, which is pretty cool in its own Avatar-esque way.

Random thought (once again inspired by a picture◊).

Do you think Kuyou would make a superb composer/musician?

The scenes from Kuyou's PoV give the impression that her innate and intimate understanding of the inner workings of the universe would grant her with a profound and precise insight of any sufficiently complex musical composition as a side effect. Think of it as applying the Music of the spheres to a very small scale.

Personally, I think a grand piano would make a better instrument of choice for Kuyou than the above picture's◊ violin, which I think is more fitting for someone like Yuki for some reason. Incidentally, this reminds me of certain picture◊ based on a disc cover.

Now that you mention it, I think you're right. I had to go back and look at official art of Sasaki but her school uniform looks nothing like the sailor-style girls' uniform Kitago uses.
