Hmmm, I do think fan works pages are a bit too Grim Tales from Down Below and Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi overdosed. How about:

I love Kirk and Spock, but I would prefer something tied to a specific fan work (either fanfic, fan comic, or fan film) then just a fan drawing on its own. Though I am sure that there is about a hundred of those for Kirk and Spock.

Oh more, Kirk / Spock was one of the earliest know fan ships (thought probably not the first, the first one we have a lot of evidence of from fanzines from the 1960s and 1970s).

I did some digging and found this Star Trek: Strange New Worlds fan comic, The Meddling Captain:
It only uses one panel of the last five panel page and doesn't use the whole thing.

Not bad, but I still prefer 6 due to how iconic Spock and Kirk are. That could just be me through and it would be nice to get two non-humanoids in there. So, I am good either way.
