Content Violations Review: Visual Novel.Hoshizora No Memoria

This page was cut by the P5 around 2012 for having "pedophile-pandering content," which I think is a little justified given the fact that all the heroines are underage, with the oldest at 17 and the youngest at 7 according to VNDB. At the time of the cut, there was no Bleached Underpants version available. In 2017, however, a "Censored Edition" was released on Steam that cuts all the sexual content from the game. I therefore propose the status of this page is changed from "Cut entirely" to "Clean version only."

(The tags on the Steam page are user-defined and should be taken with a grain of salt.)

I see two titles on Steam

Hoshizora no Memoria -Wish upon a Shooting Star- HD

Hoshizora no Memoria -Eternal Heart- HD - fandisck

I have not played either of them. After going through the screenshot section the worst I have seen is the girls in bikinis and some panty-shots.

I vote to trope the clean version only.

Looks like we have consensus, but we need a sandbox or something to fill in. Also a question whether the Bleached Underpants decision should be enforced by locking or not.

For the record, I'm not making the sandbox. I have not played the game, I have no intention of playing it, and I don't want to be spoiled.

Is anybody gonna play through the game so they can make the sandbox? Like I said, I'm not interested.

You mean the sex scenes that were cut from the clean version?

No of course not. I mean the you know plot of the visual novel.

"Cut scene" vs. "cutscene", what a difference a space makes.

Hi, you need me? The underage sex content is not part of the translated material iirc. The patch changes the visuals to... dolphins or something? Its been a long time so I don't remember exactly what it was. I don't know anything about the Steam release or fandisk but I would assume similar standards.

Seems harmless to me. Very little sexual content to begin with.

Looking at the sandbox, there are a bunch of disambigs on the page, as well as Hey Its That Voice, which is now on the PRLC. Those wicks are definitely gonna have to be changed/removed before the sandbox is swapped in.

I did what I could about those, but I read that VN like ten years ago so my memory of it isn't the keenest it's ever been. There are ZCEs that I don't remember enough about to fill in and some formatting issues.
