This raises the question of whether the image on Green-Eyed Monster is still appropriate since it depicts subtrope Jealous Romantic Witness which could lead to misuse.
Somehow I have never seen Green-Eyed Monster’s image. Yes, it could also work for JRW.

Yeah, and the weapon isn't clear. He could be holding something else. Unless there's a better shot with the weapon able to be seen, then get it off the page. Don't care if it gets moved to another or not.

If there is a better shot of the weapon, keep on Green-Eyed Monster. Jealous Romantic Witness doesn't seem to require a 'monstrous' angle, quiet observance/acceptance as in OP also works.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not getting jealousy out of either the current or the OP so much as I am sadness or regret.

Eh, being sad because the person you love is with someone else is just one part of being jealous. If they weren't jealous over it, they wouldn't really be bothered at all. This trope is more about romantic pain in a variety of forms, not just traditional jealousy.

Ah, then this is a case of a kinda-misleading title. In that case, I kinda lean toward the OP over the current on Green-Eyed Monster since that pic carries an air of menace that fits that trope better than this one to me.
