Pull regardless of replacement.
A lot of good you did me.Completely non-illustrative. Pull.
Pull
—signature not found—Yeah, that's pretty obtuse. Pull. It shouldn't be hard to find a better image.
Keet cleanupPull.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Definitely pull no matter what. It doesn't really indicate what the trope is.
Pinball cleanup threadSo how about alternatives:
1) Panama in Team America: World Police (2004).
Caption: "On the plus side, the good stuff literally grows on the trees".
2) A collage of shows with the "Old Mexico" set at Universal Studios, but it will take time. Here's in Medical Investigation, Westworld, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (not from the actual show but will look for a shot in it, it was in both seasons). They also used it in a Pope Francis biopic and My Name is Earl, unless I'm misremembering.
Caption: "When you know, you know." Or "Sometimes, Latin Land is just a lot in Los Angeles." Or, the usual, "Clockwise: [list of real locations claimed, but they are all shots of the same church set in different shows]".
3) A version of these memes or similar:
Image Macros are frowned upon.
I like 10.2. If that's not enough, we could do a collage of stereotypical Latin-American settings.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I think the only "image macro" part of it is the Impact font.
And 10.2 makes me think of Warm Place, Warm Lighting.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThis is a crop from a 1930 cartoon of Central America and the Caribbean by Ruth Taylor.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
oh hey how are you doing?
Hmmm with a bigger cut showing Panama and Colombia maybe.
Crowner's hooked.
VB, one in consensus range.
Republics with bananas, not necessarily Banana Republics."

Latin Land Images in 11 will need to be made in English if upvoted
I think it's a one time gag in Road to Eldorado about Aztec flying men being portrayed as a sideshow attraction or something, but I don't see how this shows stereotypes about Latin America (if anything it's the Mayincatec trope, because Eldorado wasn't Aztec... but it is in the movie apparently... not that you would know that from the image and caption anyway).
