One thing I have learned in pledging my life to this quest is that I have been betrayed again and again. And again. And again.
Justified: The monster is powerful and durable enough to shrug off everything else. Henry is forced to use the destructive last resort because it's now the only option left to stopping the monster from taking more lives.
