I tried to add some redlinks. Didn't do the whole page because I'm not sure if I should (also because I'm on mobile and that sounds like a terrible time.)

How does the few red links I put in the first folder look? I'm worried that the entire page would be red links if I keep doing it, and while that's probably not disallowed, it's ugly.

Should Polybius be moved to Web Original? As far as I can tell, it's not an existing game.

I say yes, plus as far as I can tell, the page is troping the stories of it, not features in the (fictitious) game.

This is me talking as someone who's never heard of Polybius before btw.

Yes, yes it should. Take it to Image Pickin' to get it removed (or to contact the artist).

Funny to see that 4 posts ago I encouraged use of the WebOriginal/ namespace lol

So I backread the thread and, if I understand correctly, one of the most pressing issues is that the creepypasta page is troping individual creepypastas, and a way to amend this is to make individual pages for the mentioned works and move them there, right?

To make an example, this should be an easy one.

Not only is it a Zero-Context Example, the author of this has a page, Slimebeast. (It's also the wrong link, this is the right one.)

I believe I should move this example to Slimebeast's page, with appropriate context, correct?

Not sure which thread is appropriate to ask this, but I'm switching wicks of Jeff the Killer to Literature/ and I noticed SerialKiller.Web Original is the first time I've seen a "Web Original Fiction" heading.

Should I put my Laughing Jack example there (from the Literature section)?

Are there other trope subpages with likewise headings?

Edit: On the other hand, FollowTheLeader.Literature also mentions Jeff, so maybe not?

Ok so firstly, The Fear Mythos is in the incorrect namespace as far as i can tell (franchise).

Secondly, should there be some folders? Either alphabetically or by namespace, it would clean up some clutter.

It was suggested in the Slender Man cleanup thread (post 20 by @War Jay 77) for Franchise.The Slender Man Mythos to be in the (recently made) Derivative Works/ namespace instead.
However, I don't think Franchise.The Fear Mythos, while being connected to the former, would fall into that namespace as well (appears to be more community-driven rather than several scattered stories trying to describe a singular entity). Blog/ might be more suitable (it's indexed there anyway).

I'm not sure where you mean by adding folders though, are you referring to the trope examples on the main page itself? There aren't that many for it to need folders (and it looks alphabetised as far as I can tell).

Wait there's a what namespace, damn

Anyways i think i will compile a list of spooky spaghettis in the wrong namespace, unless there's another thread for that (i think i saw a general cleanup thread for namespaces, so if that's more appropriate i shall go there).

For the Derivative Works/ namespace, this is the ongoing thread implementing it.

The WebOriginal/ namespace cleanup thread may also be worth bringing up, several creepypasta work pages were in Web Original/ before being moved to other, more appropriate namespaces (like Literature/, Fanfic/, etc.)

Probably the quickest way to sort Web Serial Novels/Creepypasta written stories is just click the random trope button and then move them to Literature if you got the time.

I think they should be split regardless (I haven't checked the trope list yet, but I'd think differentiating the main story from the games inspired from it would be the way to go).

I'm pretty sure at least one game is different enough to warrant a separate page

Fangames don't cause epilepsy or summon men in black, for starters.

Ok well some with flashing lights might be harmful to those with epilepsy, but that's as accurate as it gets

Tho i am not sure if the exact same tropes played almost the same minus a handful is different enough

Yes. We dont mix up tropes related to Yume Nikki and all of its fangames in one page.

I have a few questions to be sure on how I even implement this: In the case of a trope example tree that has sub-bullet examples without work pages and one(s) that do, do I move the ones that have pages to their respective pages, or are those fine to leave alone because there's more than one story to cite?
