The Western Animation subpage, under Popeye:
- Or rather, ahem, an HERBAL SUPPLEMENT. (Back when Popeye was first created, "Spinach" was slang for good old marijuana—which was obviously associated with sailors by way of hemp rope, and believed, erroneously, to make you into a deranged berserker with superhuman strength.)
Note that this is not even an aesop, but rather a completely meaningless natter bit that expands the subbullet before it featuring a claim that I've never read outside of that page.

The best character is always the one-shot disguise.Reviving this after years for a thing.
- Creepy Crossdresser: Any transvestite who doesn't pull off the gender illusion flawlessly is a fetishist or creepy pervert out to get you. Unless he's Eddie Izzard.
Since the person mentioned is a transgender woman now, should the line at the end be just cut or does anyone know a replacement character?

The best character is always the one-shot disguise.I would just cut it; the rest of the entry gets the point across without it.

The best character is always the one-shot disguise. The Warp That Aesop page for The Simpsons has this example:
- "Lisa the Vegetarian": Forcing your beliefs on others is wrong. Tricking people into complying with your beliefs by giving them something other than what they paid for is perfectly okay.
It looks within reason for a Warp That Aesop joke.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I think the Little Mermaid examples in the Disney subpage one needs to be cleaned up since it reeks of character bashing towards the main protagonist.
Can you name any specific ones? They all seem fine to me — like any other Warp That Aesop entry at least.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI don't know if examples from the siblings for Warp That Aesop count here, but I found this on Sweeten That Aesop's video game sub-page. It's literally just complaining, and is against the whole thing's rules.
- Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly: Don't try to disturb or rush the development process of a game or you just might traumatize a franchise for life.
Bringing this up from the Western Animation page for Warp That Cleanup. This is pretty whiny and just seems to be there to bash the work (Teen Titans Go!).
- If you want to get away with vapidly horrible writing and godawful characters, just attack the critics and admit that it sucks. Bonus points if you do so by saying "It's just a stupid kid's show" in an era where there are plenty of kid's shows that are of higher quality than many TV shows made for adults. Double bonus points if you play the "It's just a stupid kid's show" card when your show regularly has pop culture references dating back decades before your intended audience was even born.
That's terrible. Went ahead and cut it myself. I'd say that Sweeten That Aesop entry can easily go as well.

back lolBringing this up from the Live-Action Films page. Half of this is not "comically misinterpreting the morals", but rather just stealth bashing.
- Saving Christmas: In a religious debate, Violence is the Only Option.
- The druids made hot chocolate.
- Christmas was tailor-made for rich people. Anyone who can't afford more than one fridge and a McMansion aren't doing it right.
- St. Nick was an Ax-Crazy fundamentalist that would cripple you for life if you were a Christian that wasn't Christian enough. God help you if you ween't Christian at all.
- If people think your movie is So Okay, It's Average, then it's obviously a conspiracy to undermine whatever group you are in.
- Christianity itself encourages materialistic excess. All that stuff about "giving everything to the poor" was just the Bible being poetic.

Hmm...I'd say that the second, third (and maybe the first?) examples can be kept. The rest can be simply *insert scissors emoji here*.
(Don't) take me home.I'd cut the second to last one for being pure meta. The rest I think are okay, though the two about being rich might be duplicates.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Bringing this up from the Tropes sub-page. This seems more like an example of Sweeten That Aesop than anything.
- Rousseau Was Right: There is goodness in humans, even if they'll still be assholes.
Is it? It's already an inherently sweet concept about inherent goodness.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSo... it should be moved to that?
No, I'm saying you can't "sweeten" what's already inherently sweet. The "even if they're assholes" part seems to be trying to warp it.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessBringing this up from the film sub-page. This example is literally just bashing the film.
- Looney Tunes: Back in Action: Spite is never a good reason to make a film, especially if the film doesn't have a lot of support from the executives, vaguely follows the source material and ends up not being that great in the long run.
- If you want to use copyrighted characters, ask first.
Remove it, since bashing and complaining isn't allowed.
We should remove the entries that seem too exaggerating.

I've decided to skim through the Disney section to remove the character bashing.
The natter should go, but simply taking Artistic License seriously isn't inherently a problem. The point of Warp That Aesop is that it's a joke. It's taking the show's messages to its logical extent to twist it into a bad lesson.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
