I think cutting the page on Sonichu and purging any mention of her is an extreme overreaction (especially the part about punishing people for even mentioning her) but the pages about her works should be locked.

Her only work and its subpages already are locked.

The Crowner seems to have solidified at this point, so is it the right time to call it or does there need to be a longer waiting time?

Another 24 hours at most.

My only thought is that Christine's jail sentence should probably only be discussed (in bare minimum detail)if it actually leads to Sonichu being cancelled.

I didn't even know Sonichu was ongoing.

It isn't? My bad, its been years since I've looked the comic up. I just assumed it was.

In fariness,I think people hear more about its creator then the work they produced,I don't think there are many people actively reading Sonichu really

I can tell you, I was interested more in what was Christine doing over whatever the heck was happening in Sonichu. I find it kinda ironic, because that's sorta what happened in the comic, where Sonichu was Demoted to Extra over Christine's own Author Avatar.

I can tell that Chris Chan views herself as the God-Mode Sue in her own Self-Insert Fic. I think that's why Sonichu gets fewer roles.

So what ratio is necessary to call the crowner?

If I understood the results of the crowner, talking about her on the wiki is banned, but the forums are fair game, correct? Just making sure I got this right (not that I will be talking any about her, anyway).

That seems to be the consensus as the only ones with a good ratio are specific to the wiki.

Me, I suspect the crowner hasn't been called because a) nobody has asked for it to be called and b) it's a rather pointless crowner too - the work pages are already locked and nobody has tried to create the author pages.

It's just an extra measure to PRLC her possible creator pages. CWC is PRLC after all, even though it seems to have been years since someone tried to make that page, if it ever happened.

It is kinda unrelated to Sonichu or CWC page but why do we have to use she/her pronounce on Chris Chan when she's only changing her gender to get a girlfriend from what I heard of?

So we don't set a precedent for "acceptable" misgendering on the wiki (or anywhere).

So what's that supposed to mean?

That we don't want people to use this as an excuse to misgender trans people because they speculate that they have the "wrong" motives for transitioning.

Also I don't think this thread should remain open once we declare the vote, because people are already going off topic to talk about Chris herself.

Ok, sorry for going off-topic here. I do respect transgenders but I thought because people have the "right" to misgendered Chris Chan, so I should follow them because apparently it's disrespectful for the trans community to use Christine's current pronounce. Anyway, thank you for explaining it.

There is no reason to misgender people under any circumstance. Even if they use different pronouns for reasons that are not related to gender identity, such as those who stick to "they" for anonymity or neurodivergence, there is no reason not to show someone what's a matter of basic respect.

The idea that it becomes OK to misgender a trans person because of their behavior, even if they are pretty objectively a terrible person, isn't any different from claiming that it's OK to call a black man racial slurs just because he's a jerkass or shows signs of being a Boomerang Bigot.

Also, "transgenders" isn't a word. It's "people who are trans(gender)" or "trans(gender) people".

The way I see it, even if she’s faking herself being trans (which admittedly isn’t hard to believe) misgendering her would be insulting every trans person. Especially if we were wronga nd she actually is trans.
