Laura's "limits" for magic are practically nonexistent; so, it's difficult and largely unnecessary to go beyond that unless So Last Season sets in. However, I wouldn't doubt if she could push her limits with physical weapons only (of which she prefers the sword); it just hasn't been shown yet.
