Chris has...weird priority issues. Someone real close to him potentially dying or disappearing instills in him grim rage and fierce determination. I imagine if Claire seemingly died or he learned what happened to Claire in Rev 2 he'd probably kick every current Umbrella wannabe's asses so hard the next Umbrella wannabes would feel it.

Yet if Red Shirts under his command die he retreats inside a bottle and rinks both his troubles away and his brain into mush to the point where he thinks he's an elevator.

To be fair he did kinda get wailed on by one of said red shirts and suffered repeated blows to the head.

When he gains his memories back Chris is very much Captain Ahab- like you describe him- and will get Carla come hell or high water.

Though they let Chris be more blinded by his rage for the sake of drama

And at least in RE 5 it was more professional anger and determination. He didn't act like a raging fucklface to Sheva, I'm pretty sure.

From what I've gathered RE 6 is a bunch of different scenarios by various writers kinda moshed together.

IE Pier's Role was originally filled by a Female Subordinate 'Hence My IQ gag a few pages back- but was changed cause they felt it sent unfortunate messages concerning how The Relationship plays out. Which really doesn't make much sense unless they actively rewrote the role with a guy in mind which means its not a Gender problem its a Writer problem but anyway.

My only Guess is Carla or whoever was the Villain was originally suppose to more actively gain Chris' ire so Chris' Ahab like vendetta would make more sense.

Ya know unlike Wesker who kinda sees Chris as a pest but amusing... Someone who actively works to **** with Chris.

But they really wanted to keep the Chris has gone Ahab aspect... then again RE 6 really didn't try to hide that the Ada runnnig around in the scarf isn't the Real Ada

There's a message from Birkin to Irons in RE2 in which Birkins explicitly tells Irons to dispose of any evidence that implicates Umbrella's involvement in the Arklay Mansion incident, so I think it's safe to say that the answer is "Yes, the STARS trio handed over what evidence they had to the RCPD's property office, where unknown to them Irons-loyal insiders had it discreetly destroyed."

My pet theory is that Irons was not the only corrupt police officer in the RCPD (we do know that then STARS member Brad Vickers sided with Irons over the disbanding of STARS, so there's precedent for the existence of Irons loyalists); since he's been taking bribes from Umbrella to impede any attempts at starting investigations of suspicious activities by the company, it's only logical that he had some of those other corrupt cops in the property office, so that it would be trivially easy for him to tell them to destroy any possible anti-Umbrella evidence that more honest RCPD cops would dutifully hand over.

Ya know going back to Jill's wacky behavior, since some people who made fun of Apocalyspe stating that Jill's actress moved like she was a Street walker 'Which is hilarious cause Sienna basically mimicked Jill's mannerism by watching someone play the game, Thats dedication'

Would mean Jill herself is looking to get laid during a Zombie apocalypse... Its like those people who get off at doing it in public places or 'WE might get caught! Thats what makes it so much better' Jill's just looking for some poor well endowed doofus she can **** in the midst of the outbreak... Ten points if she was looking for a Virgin just to complete the fantasy.

Sheva is awesome, I mean She pretty much always pulls her weight all through RE 5

Then again The Sheva hate is less with the character and more with the crap surrounding her like Ashley or Helena

Then again I kinda want all the characters to have call backs since they seem to wan to weave the RE universe tighter together. Bring Back the Out Break 8!

Say, Jill's profile in the character sheet claims that the RE 3 novel(s) hang a lampshade on her mode of dress in the game and claim that it makes her harder to be grabbed by zombies; I persume it's trying to say that normal clothes (e.g. sleeved shirts, full-length pants) give a more lenient margin of error for zombies when it comes to catching people, especially if the clothes are baggy (they leave trailing "flaps", you know?). Kinda makes sense, but can anyone confirm the claim?

Nails don't help them grab people, only wound them (even if it's just a scratch). Which, given that zombies might have Uninhibited Muscle Power due to brain damage, may very well happen even if your targeted body part is covered in somewhat sturdy clothes.

Just started playing Resident Evil: Revelations 2 and am enjoying it a great deal. Albeit, the VA for the Overseer (who I know the identity of) is a bit too recognizable to me so I keep thinking Motoko Kusanagi is holding us hostage.

I'm new to this thread so I'm going to start by saying something blasphemous: I liked Resident Evil 6... boom. Now I've destroyed any chance of gaining credibility here.

Oh look its another RE 6 Fan... Welcome to the club.

I actually was an RE fan up to Code Veronica and only recently have gotten back to the series on my Xbox 1. As such I'm kind of playing catch up, starting with RE 4 and having moved on to Revelations 2 (I have Revelations but can only play it in my living room on the Xbox 360-which competes with my wife's shows since she prefers to watch them there). I'm going to play 5 and 6 after Revelations 2.

If you're going to play 5 and 6 don't go in expecting them to be horror games. Go into them expecting dumb fun action games like I did and you might enjoy them.
