I like Bravest Warriors and Bee & Puppycat. One is a fun sci-fi fantasy adventure with an emotional pulse while the other is a dreamy slice of life starring a thicc robot girl. Both great experiences to watch.

...Huh. Some interesting things are happening in Bravest Warriors, aren't they?
Curse you VRV for being something I have to pay for!
Anyway, got any thoughts on "The Summoning"? Got a favorite Cartoon Hangover toon?
The Summoning really has the potential to be a full cartoon series IMO.
" I'm the princess! Everyone has to do what I say!"By full on cartoon you mean for Frederator Cartoon Hangover, right? I don't think CN, Nick, Or Disney would give a show like The Summoning a chance.
"We be we baby!"Well, yeah, in that case.
" I'm the princess! Everyone has to do what I say!"Maybe it could work on Adult Swim. Or Adult Swim Jr if that ends up being real.
" I'm the princess! Everyone has to do what I say!"Or it could just be toned down like most pilots with iffy content.
That's also an option, but I kinda want it to keep it's tone. Would be nice to see a series on Adult Swim that doesn't need to be really that adult.
" I'm the princess! Everyone has to do what I say!"If those two cats in "The Summoning" can get some more development, I'll keeping watching without much complaint, should it ever become a series... Right now, I don't find them all that likable or engaging - just rather hardheaded and reckless (but not in a believable way that I'm used to such characters being...), which isn't a good sign for me, in terms of getting truly attached to the M Cs of something to be.
Still better than most of the other pilots I've seen here - especially "Boots"..... Honestly, now that was some weak shite right there, IMHO.

New Web Browser, same old Shokew.Speaking of which, I really should've been updating this page as more GO! Cartoons show up...
- Boots: Eh, I guess it's pretty weak..
- City Dwellers: Easily better than Boots IMO.
- Rachel and Her Grandfather Control the Island: The animation is...weird. And the story is...weirder. But if you're all for Black Comedy and randomness happening every 5 seconds, this might be your jam.
- Nebulous: A very weird lesson on the importance of eating your veggies...unless those veggies turn out to be alien plant monster hatchlings.
- Welcome to Doozy: Rice balls + love + magic = ???
- Both Brothers: 2 Brothers with funny accents, make the sun mad, Hilarity Ensues.
And the newest toon, The Bagheads:
Still waiting for that probably never gonna happen The Summoning series.
"We be we baby!"Another new toon, Tyler & Co. by Gabe Janisz!
There is a thread for Cartoon Hangover over at New Media, but virtually nobody's touched it.
Since this is a forum for Western Animation, and Cartoon Hangover is Western Animation, it only makes sense to have this here as a discussion/reaction/everything else thread.
To recap:
Current toons:
Other toons:
Originally, these were uploaded on YouTube, but then YT came up with some weird rules that now made it less of a good idea to just upload all of these original toons for free on YT willy-nilly. Ergo, ongoing stuff like Bravest Warriors season 3 and Bee & PuppyCat season 2 are not on YT, but rather on some weird service called VRV. For more on those two shows, visit their forums. (Though they may be a tad outdated...)
Anyway! This thread was created because Cartoon Hangover has a new phase called GO! Cartoons, which was made in collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation (references not important).
And they've started it with "The Summoning" by Elyse Castro!
As a discussion-starter, my thoughts are simple:
For obvious reasons, I don't trust SPA. Not because it's talent-less, but the people in charge of said talent are using it incompetently. That said, this is still a darkly fun show that seems like a Frederator product first and foremost.
Without more ado, discuss/speculate/react away!
