Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle

All right, all right. I honestly believed that straying a bit is fine. But straying into Fate Apocrypha when if a Nasuverse rep is going to get into Cross Tag in the future it's gonna be Artoria/Altria anyway... well that's a bit straying too much.

We were just pointing out that everyone has someone that they personally dislike to a great level, it could be anyone. Mine is Terumi, and it's not just the kind of 'Because he's a villain'. It's the kind of petty shit that will never acknowledge him no matter how much he achieved.

That being said... I know Arcsys won't do stuffs from MUGEN, but I did saw a MUGEN edition of Okita Souji and... I honestly would be interested to see her as a Nasuverse rep, even if we know Altria would get the spot anyway.

I feel trying to have more villains, in addition to the main OC one would have made the plot too complicated for it's own good.

Got nothing for the gameplay side of things though.

Altaria Saber will likely be put into BBTAG if they ever decide to rep Fate. And allow them to put in Saber Alter as an additional character recycling assets since Alter characters are becoming more and more popular.

OC is fifty-fifty, really. Even Fire Emblem series has done both sides of the coin: They did good with the OC of Heroes, but the OC of Warriors are... ehh...

So putting OC villain and hero in Cross Tag can open up another can of worms by itself. Not sure I'd recommend it.

I mean, if the Capcom Vs Whatever series can get away with not having OC... why not?

Either the OCs are weirdos who you don't want to see too much of (Project X Zone 1, although I don't mind Reiji and Xiaomu in Namcox Capcom and PXZ 2 THAT much) or they start to take over the plot (Kingdom Hearts, The King of Fighters). You need to strike a good balance, and BBTAG isn't the kind of game where they fit.

They didn't, why do you think Ruby Hearts has only appear in cameos?

Either way OC are very risky, but it's not like there hasn't been success with them before.

And that was why MVC3 went back with 'no OC'? As stated, there needs to be a good balance when trying to put on OC. If you scored good, it would be a success, but most of the time, it might not succeed.

... You DID read about me comparing the two Fire Emblem spinoffs with OC, didn't you?

You know what worries me? If they're unable to get Liam O'Brien back for Akihiko. It's good that they could get Erin Fitzgerald back, but... well, Liam is a whole different story.

Remember, Mori said most actors (Read: Platinum) will come back to reprise their roles in Blaz Blue and Persona so Liam could make it.

So, I got the DLC the other day, and I say I really enjoy using Yang the most of anyone.

How do I get the Raven alt for Yang? Is it unlockable via the story or something?

Pretty sure it's in the in-game shop for the in-game money/points?

UMVC 3 only lets have 3 as well. Besides it not that hard to remember who you like to pair up for this game given how small roster is.

That being said, Yang is incredibly fun to play as.

Oh, boy I can't wait to see how Tsubaki gets brainwashed this tim-oh, wait.

Tsubaki is not in but Izayoi is in because apparently the Japanese SERIOUSLY hate Tsubaki. Even Imai has been aware of this, I guess that's why Izayoi is her avatar and the one who got in.

I thought Japan loved Tsubaki (albeit mostly because of her VA) due to her more or less being the stereotypical idealized Japanese woman?

Liking her VA is correct. On the other hand, Tsubaki's issues hit the sore spot like hell, and her disliking Ragna is taken much more heavily, not just because of Ragna's Cosmic Plaything status, but she got in the way of the yaoi pair of Ragna X Jin. Pretty popular over there, it seems.

But still a better fate than one that is ignored instead for a similar issue. Be grateful, Tsu.
