Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle

Considering how much hype this generated in just over an Hour, it deserves its own thread:

Blaz Blue, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In Birth AND RWBY in one fighting game?

We Never Saw it coming. :p

We are probably missing out

I'm just gonna guess a certain someone isn't going to be in the game. It's... inevitable. I'll just satisfy myself that probably I'll have Jin and hopefully Orie.

Unrealistic prediction time:

• about 100-150 characters. enough to fill in the slows with every character form the parent games (Plus the P5 cast and of couse the RWBY charatcers)
• Timey-Wimey Ball creates chronophantasmia of the following characters Ragna the Bloodegde, Trinity Glassfield, Yukki Terumi, Phyrra Nikos, Penny, Torchwick, Goro Akechi and Shinjiro. Among other characters that were deceased around that point.

More realistic predictions:

• Remixed soundtracks with some original compositions
• An Original Generation villain to explain why 4 unlrelated universe collided (and also explain how certain chcratcers are back in existence)
• Persona 5 characters
• That Ruby (or Team RWBY) are just Guest Fighters

Seeing Under Night In Birth get more recognition brings a smile to my face.

Can't wait to use Orie to beat the crap out of Tsubaki. Show her a real Lady of War.

Though, now that the hype is died down for me a little, I kind of wished Persona 5 would continue getting recognition, but we're back to Persona 4. Oh, well. Availability and all that jazz.

They might include P5

I wonder what other RWBY characters might be in it aside from the obvious main 4.

I just want my waifu's Nine and Yuzuriha confirmed.

And if Ruby's indication, we may be getting a dub this time, which would more than make up for CF's lack of one.

They might put in Joker but I would not expect any more than that, they will save the rest for their own game.

I also do not expect the entire Arena Ulti cast in it, probably 4 to 5 characters and they will keep the roster size down to average 20-30 characters.

Lets see Yu, Labrys and Aigis are the musts from Persona, maybe Joker. Mitsuru, Akihiko and Naoto would probably be the toss ups for the other slots.

Well, if that's the case there's no way a certain doctor is going to be in. But Orie has it pretty high, if Linne didn't override her.

And hell, if Kanji gets in, that's my two mains together!

I wouldn't be so sure on dub. They will have to pick up dubs for UNIB which HAD no dub.

Ideally, we might see JNPR (note the P) and maybe Penny, Sun and Neptune. Plus CNDR for the villains (Salem will be a Non Action villain for this)

On the Persona side: The Investigation team might be a Given, but there's also the possibility of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts and the Shadow Operatives.

Blaz Blue has its own Loads And Loads Of Characters and UNIEL also seems to have a decent sized casts.

Realistically we might be seeing around 8 from each franchise (and that's assuming that RWBY isn't in Guest Fighter status), which would allow for the Investigation team (and Labrys and Aigis), RWBY, JNPR, as well as Ragna, Jin, Noel, Hakumen, Bang, Rachel, Liechi and one other character (Carl perhaps) from BB while seeing Hyde, Lynne and 6 others from UNIB.

.... Nah, they'll probably replace Litchi with Makoto (because wow, that lady is pretty much bottom-in-the-barrel for popularity, even for boobs. No way in hell they'll put her in). And they have to put in Terumi as well.

Tsubaki would probably be in too. The trio of Noel-Tsubaki-Makoto is considered 'integral' to BB popularity.

Arcana Heart characters for DLC, please (Since Heart went on a date with Ragna in an A Pril Fools crossover).

Make Parace L Sia a Downloadable bonus boss so that people that haven't played the game she's from can suffer as we have suffered. Muahahahahaha!

They could do what Tekken does & have a character speak English while everyone speaks their own language (Japanese).

A crossover between 4 franchises, unless the cast is gonna be very big there gonna have to make sure the picks are even with each other so only the really big names will make it at first.

Actually maybe if Parace is in, I could have tried using someone like Jin to fight her...

I could actually see Hazama making it before Terumi. Hazama is stupid popular.

Depending on the Roster, we might see a Susano'o vs Susano'o vs Susano'o fight. As well as some Mercury vs. Mercurius action (with a pinch of Trismegistus to spice things up)

I also can't wait to see how the RWBY characters look designed by Arc System Works.

All these crossovers makes me wonder if Netherrealm Studios will do another DC Comics vs. Mortal Kombat game again.

With this games announcment and Geese Howard being a DLC character in Tekken 7, I can say that this is the best EVO ever now.

So will this be a collaboration with Atlus and RT or is Arc Sys doing everything by themselves?

Oh shit, Adachi and Hazama: the scumbag showdown I never realized I needed.

Cinder would be fun to play.

Good to see 2D fighters are going to keep holding it down. Though given the nature of this that could be pragmatic, too: they can recycle most of the Blazblue, Persona, and UNIB sprites.
