Pending other ideas, either works for me...leaning very slightly toward the first.
Is this a comparison trope? The description is a bit heavy on the "poorer people wear this and richer people wear that" side... is why I ask.

Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty1.2 lightened a little:
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
^ The non-white dresses weaken the message.
I prefer 1.1.
Check out my fanfiction!1.1
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Yeh, the other thread saw support for the second image, with the caption "Actually that dress is ecru". So I'm leaning for the second one, but lightened.
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!1.1.
(Annoyed grunt)1.2/4 for me.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Would a real-life house count for this one? Here's Akon◊'s mansion, for one.
Oh, yeah, I like that better.
(Neither of the original suggestions really shouts "rich" to me.)
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. That's a good contender.
I like that one.
(Annoyed grunt)11 > 1.1. Because it's more concise.

Check out my fanfiction! That works better since there's more contrast and not so much white it blends together.
Check out my fanfiction!Agreed, is better.
16 is indeed better.
(Annoyed grunt)16
