Opening. Good points.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.As a replacement idea, how about the Striaton Gym trio◊ from Pokémon Black/White? As an added bonus, their elemental monkeys are also present in this pic.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportLove it. not only the colors, but the styles as well.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Non-traditional elements can be an issue as you first have to figure out which element it is, but it can easily be explained in the caption.
Check out my fanfiction!I would say merge the two trope, eye color and hair color and use eye color's current image. They are the same trope really and usually used together.

The girls on the current are actually a pretty good example (see here◊), and the current is just highly stylized official art, but CLAMP's style is very extra so I lean more towards the Pokemon suggestion. It helps that the monkeys also have Elemental Hair.
But if I had to pick, I'd say the pic on Elemental Eye Colors is better. I'd prefer it if the eye colors trope showed a picture that didn't go hand-in-hand with this trope, eg. Avatar◊, but that's not the point of this thread.

Wasn't the OP's point that this trope is about the hair LITERALLY being made out of the element? Coz none of them have hair like that in that pic. Even the monkeys.

No, the OP's point is that this trope is not for hair literally made of the element.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Well then, I suggest the Genasi
Oooh, the element's reflected in their skin as well. That's another good option.

Interesting, but no? Fire-guy has Flaming Hair, Rock-guy has nearly no hair... the others have black+white and some faint tint of the an elemental color for their hair? A.k.a their hair color is hard to see, which makes it a bad image for being illustrative?
I'd suggest something from World Customize Creator, or something else, which, well, is said to use the trope?
@ #7 : Yes, except for Wind-girl having blonde hair... Which, under current description isn't a Wind Elemental Hair color?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576I can't tell at wiki size whether Fire guys hair is flames or flame-colored and spiky. Earth dude's is either grass (which would be a sort of literal element hair) or grass-like tufts (which wouldn't). Air and water are both pale, but the texture appears different enough to avoid confusion — Air's is floaty strands, Water's is a smooth cascade, like a waterfall.
I like it.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Red guy doesn't have fire hair.
Need to trim the link to get to the fullsize.
Well, from the names in the caption, I guess they're element users, but from the picture alone, I can't tell?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576I don't see any fire magic there and the other is wind?
I'd like to see more than one element presented.
She is part of a quartet however the other 3 don't really work out really well when shrunk.

I like 18, I don't think listing more than 1 is necessary.
It needs to show the element.

That first link is asking to load something on my computer.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
It looks like an image for an Element actually being the hair, like Flaming Hair, as said in the wick from Fiery Redhead's description:
And it seems Flaming Hair thinks so as well:
I think the image from Elemental Eye Colors would show the connection between Element and hair color a lot better?
But, in reference to the old NSFW complaint, it does look great, no arguing that.
