I can't tell what's happening.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. If I read the example on the page right, the character with the cage in the foreground is supposed to be standing out from the rest of the scene due to bad green-screening, but the overall bad quality of the pic blunts the effect.
I don't think that pic should go anywhere. The quality is worse than the Special Effect Failure.

Check out my fanfiction!Well, that image shouldn't go to waste.
Gonna agree with the sentiment that it doesn't seem to illustrate anything all that well.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"That's pretty good. I'd love to use something from the original Land of the Lost (1974) but everything I've found is way too low quality to use.

Isn't that image a little too grainy?
It's higher quality than the other one.
Check out my fanfiction! The image in 7 is from Doctor Who, which has its own Special Effect Failure page. (It's also a frame of the collage there.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Bump. Any other image suggestions?
I feel like anything from early Ultraman would totally fit.... this is just something I found on google but a better image might be around:
The original costume was just downright awful:

But that's a costume, not a special effect.
Yeah, that's not this trope at all.
Bumping this. Do we have any other image suggestions, or is this going to be BUPKIS?
I have to bump this thread again because it's not getting attention. A single proposition crowner, perhaps?
This doesn't have any consensus that anything needs to be done with that image. There's no point in a crowner. And please don't bump threads like this.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.In fact, since this thread is basically a shambling zombie at this point, I'm putting it down.
But the page image that I've tagged on the right needs to go somewhere else. As Maxwellsilver said on that TRS article, he suggested moving it to Live-Action TV subpage for Special Effect Failure. Do you agree with him, or should it go onto Stock Footage Failure instead?
