That looks completely intentional which is Inherited Illiteracy Title.

I made a point in my suggestion that it was a mistake since it got corrected after the third episode and in the bluray releases.

As much as "Peeface" made me laugh, the current illustrates the trope just fine.

Plus the trope isn't just "Typos exist", but "Typo in a prominent place in the work. Like the title or opening credits."

A name is probably not suitable, since those can have odd spellings, and if you need to point it out, it's already less clear than the current.

I don't, coz the handwritten "Not" distracts from the typo.

Furthermore the obvious Japanese script may lead to confusion with Engrish, "Blind Idiot" Translation & Translation Train Wreck.

@32 I can't even tell which one is the typo, which a problem when you're dealing with noun. Arcturus is a star while Acturus is a latin word so not obvious.

It's easy to tell the latter has been manipulated, as opposed to the current page pic.

Part of me would also point out the 2nd sign was actually written by a mayor for whom English was actually his second language lol (the man is a bit of a legend)

Again, the trope is about works of fictions with a typo somewhere prominent, like the title. (A opposed to the background).

It's not "Typos exist".

The current is fine, at this point it's just becoming desperate attempts to suggest something for the sake of suggesting things.
