Even if all the current Marvel shows were canceled what makes you think the next group will be better?
35 year old white man.I'll take it in equal amounts of salt, especially since the source did say they were a bit out of the loop and likely have incorrect information.
Because on the one hand, it doesn't seem to make sense to end all the series at once, especially since one just got started (even if with two seasons off the bat), and they've still got to promote two more upcoming movies.
On the other hand, Marvel's Spider-Man itself was more or less a product of one show ending to make way for another one, likely to tie into Spider-Man: Homecoming (even if Marvel's has little to do with Homecoming).
Again, this isn't just three series ending on a whim. This could be due to some unforeseen problem or restructuring. Most of the info that is "off" on that site is whether certain shows are on production or not. The fact that there's a specific mention of Marvel Animation going on hiatus and layoffs and everything gives me pause on writing it off as misinformation.
After all, it didn't "make sense" for Cartoon Network to dump three of their new (at the time) DC shows, like Young Justice, Green Lantern, and Beware the Batman before they barely started, yet they did anyway. At this point, anything goes.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Young Justice had the benefit of getting a Season 2 before being abruptly dumped, to be fair.
Good point on Green Lantern and Beware, though.
Do wonder what the restructuring could be about, though.

It's suggested that each show will get one more season before being cancelled. They probably won't even end at the same time.
Another reason to not trust that list is Milo Murphy's Law. That list said it was done, but not only is a second season is already confirmed to air, there is also that crossover with Phineas and Ferb later this year. Besides, based on the trend I have seen with other shows, Disney usually announces a new season before the next season begins.

Wait. This show is getting crossover with Phineas and Ferb?
Pretty sure digitalhero was still talking about Milo Murphy's Law there.

I was still talking about Milo Murphy's Law. Sorry for any confusion that caused.
Again, considering how production times are way ahead of airing times, it could be talking about the second season finishing production.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I'm just going to wait until something official comes out. That list is basically a leak, especially since the person doesn't give any names to the people who gave the information.
So the series is getting some new episodes this Sunday, with The Rise of Doc Ock and The Sinister Five!!!!
Looks like Crimson Dynamo is gonna be part of this team. I'd complain about them introducing the Sinister Six so early, but then I'd be ignoring that Spectacular, and I think the 90s cartoon, did the same thing. That actually kind of was something I liked about Ultimate, where the team was built up, even though it was done twice, I think.
Then again, can it really be the Sinister Six if there are only five members?
The 90's series actually brought them in for the second season opener.
One Strip! One Strip!Anyone catch the Doc Ock episodes?
I know a lot of people are wary at the show turning nearly everyone into teenage geniuses, but I think it actually works with Otto, particularly how Spidey tries to steer him into a heroic path, and how that effort slowly fails as Otto's arrogance becomes too strong. For how they rushed Miles into being a second Spider-Man, they sure are taking time turning Otto into a supervillain. It works here, though, and seeing him try to be a hero is amusing and kinda refreshing.
My only complaints are the use of villains in the episode. Crimson Dynamo felt off, since the episode didn't really need it to be her for the plot to work, and Lizard felt like an afterthought, especially for a major Spidey villain.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I mean the Lizard was a plot device even in universe so I can't really fault the episode for him feeling tacked on as that was basically the point.
I'll admit that despite this show's painfully cheesy writing at times, it's become a massive guilty pleasure of mine. I don't know, I just find it charming in its simplicity, earnestness, and sense of fun. This "Otto as a teen hero" concept is just fun and different enough to be engaging.
I will say I'm still not sold on Miles, though. He's too similar to Peter and his presence seems redundant a lot of the time. It feels like he's mostly just someone for Peter to talk to, something that could usually be handled by just giving Peter internal narration.
Also, the show is kind of oozing with... Dan Slott-ness, but I guess that kind of makes sense for a modern Spider-Man cartoon, seeing as he's written the comics for like a solid decade.

I've got Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash, Spyro, and Paper Mario fanfics. Finally caught up. Yeah, Lizard kinda felt wasted, though I'm glad he avoided the Scorpion treatment and was given an Anti-Villain origin story at least.
I actually really liked the direction they went with Otto. The show really did a great job at playing up his massive Insufferable Genius ego and Inferiority Superiority Complex, showing how this drives him to join Oscorp despite having first tried being a hero.
I personally found Miles and Peter Obfuscating Stupidity in Otto's presence actually pretty amusing, and while it's true Miles feels a bit redundant, I actually like the relationship he develops with Peter.
Overall, so far I like this show, despite his slightly narmy obsession with science and school. Definitely not as insufferable as USM.
To be honest I'm expecting Curt Connors to defect over to Horizon High by the end of the season, ending up in Otto's original position for the purposes of irony (or whatever term I'm trying to use).
I did enjoy the two (technically four, since there are two more new eps next week) parter, although considering how the episodes close off like any other episodes, I would have liked it if they spent just a little more time with Otto trying to be a superhero.
I wonder if that giant lizard tail they dumped in the river will have any future ramifications?
I laughed incredibly hard when I saw they were doing that.
Obfuscating Stupidity, or throwing the lizard's tail in the lake?
Perhaps it has mutagenic effects on any creature that eats from it.
Throwing the Lizard's tail in the lake.
... You want Marvel's Spider-Man to get cancelled?
