Does God have a vendetta against Boeing or something?

Where there's life, there's hope. No, but they tend to built the biggest planes out there. So way the year is going I would kind of expect it hitting the biggest model out there....
No P-Tr extinction? Granted we'd never see the end of the article were it to be exhaustive...
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiot"1986

LOL.
And in case anyone hasn't heard yet, Trump has tapped a pro-Russian CEO with zero diplomatic experience to be Secretary of State. So if you were holding out hope that American stupidity would be restricted to their own borders, guess again.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.BTW, said Exxon guy is very much a TPP supporter. A lot of Trump's current Cabinet members and other Department heads are TPP supporters. So if you're not a fan of the TPP...
Disgusted, but not surprisedTTP won't happen as long as Trump is in power. There are two people necessary for a deal like this.
The idea is that the people around Trump might convince him to flip-flop. It would not be the first time.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI know...but my point is that the EU won't want a closer deal with the US under the current circumstances. I bet that they will focus on Canada, India and China.
And given the apparent collision course between the Trump administration and China, that's a potential avenue for estrangement of the EU from the United States.
The deal between the EU and US might be dead but the Pacific deal that is the TPP may well be flipped upon.
“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranHonestly, the way the world is currently going, I wouldn't be too surprised if a few years down, an alliance between the EU, Canada and China will try to keep the US and Russia in check.
Starring Donald Trump as Napoleon Solo and Vladimir Putin as Illya Kuryakin.
As if there'll be an EU in a few years the way things are going.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."The sad thing is, given what we've seen, 2017 is going to be so much worse on every level. Putin's probably laughing himself to sleep every night with how easy it was to convince the angry racists and greedy opportunists in is enemy's lands to utterly destroy their homelands for him. Now he has the world's biggest military and a massive oil deal at his fingertips with his favored puppets.

The crazier the world gets, the more likely is it that the EU will stick together. That is the ironic thing in all this. Nothing makes stronger allies than a common enemy. Just look at the UK and France, they did nothing but fighting each other until they decided that Germany was the bigger danger.
Please, please stick together. Don't repeat the mistake my country made.
Disgusted, but not surprisedWe will do our best. Thankfully the democratic systems in the EU are in generally not set up in a way that a candidate can win an absolute majority with less votes. But the elections in the EU are the one thing which makes me hope that the next year will be better...I hope that the voters will push back against the demagogues.

Things are only going to get worse in the USA next year. I suspect the same will be true in the UK. When voting, I hope the people in the EU see us as a cautionary tale. Beware the demagogue.

Ha... Ha ha... Hahaha... HA HA HA... HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! BWAHAHAHAHA !!! HA HA Ha ha... Ha... Ha... -snif-
I wouldn't be so sure about that; Trump is going to devote most of his energy to shoring up his legitimacy as POTUS, since that's where he's weakest. That will probably entail frontloading the Bread and Circuses part of his agenda, particularly the stuff that will get American elites on his side. We might have a good year or two before the house of cards falls in on itself or Trump starts enacting the more unpopular (and inhumane) parts of his agenda.
A calm before the storm if you will.

Honestly, the way this year goes, I will keep expecting another tsunami/earthquake/Vulcan eruption until it is over. I am kind of surprised that the plane crash didn't happen with a Boeing
