What's one magic item from Harry Potter you'd wanna own?
Phantom is my favourite, but I gotta admit I love Joseph. I've had the DVD for yooooooooooooonks and it's just a bright, energetic musical with fun music and lots of colour. And the Pharaoh is an Elvis impersonator. What's not to love? Jesus Christ Superstar is okay but not my favourite.
And yeah I'm with you on Cats.
Edited by Murataku on May 7th 2020 at 10:53:35 PM
Sure the show's stupid but it's bright, fun, and you see grown men get punched in the face multiple times an episode. What's not to like?Do you like any of Lloyd Webber's other work? I think I'm personally more of a Phantom-only type of person — I'm only marginally familiar with Joseph and Jesus Christ Superstar, and thanks to the one-two punch of Jersey Girl and the internet response to the movie I find myself never, ever wanting to come anywhere close to anything Cats related.
For about a month or so I took a break, and initially came back last week just to see what the fuss was about with the new machine gun that they added for Guardian Games. I think I've been workin' that grind for four, five days now? Something like that. It's not the worst one Bungie's put on us (the long road to the Bad Juju still haunts me, and I don't think I could stomach trying to go for something like 1KV), but it is a bit much if you're gettin' into it a bit after the event started.
I think I've got four of the seven triumphs I need for it. I know people were hoping for something more elaborate after they kinda just dropped Devil's Ruin on us (and made the Bastion thing all but pointless), but not like this...
Generally I'm starting to get why people aren't really vibing with the season pass system the game has at the moment — you don't want to lose out on the money you paid, but you don't want to burn yourself out, either. Instead of being a way to get cool stuff, it starts to feel like an obligation. I said this in a blog post a few months ago and it's still true:
In general I play Destiny more during the fall and winter months because the game's historically been more alive at that point than during the spring and summer, and while it has been nice to get back in touch with what's up after a while away, I don't know if the stuff going on right now is compelling enough to bring other lapsed or new players into the fold.
(and I haven't played Trials even though I've been playing since D1Y2 because even regular Crucible is an experience akin to pulling teeth for me about 80% of the time, with exceptions made for Mayhem and Momentum Control. it's a shame because the gear's always been some of the coolest stuff in the game. ah well)

Uhhhh, it's a bit Silver Age continuity heavy, with several references, but I guess you could start from the first nonexistent mini-series and go on in the ongoing series and mini-series in a continuity.

Some of the basic NPC lines from Skyrim are kinda amusing for some reason, probably because they're so quotable that they're great meme material, even though the lines aren't intentionally comedic. The following quotes are:
"Hey you, you're finally awake. You're trying to cross the border, right?"
"Looking to protect yourself, or deal some damage?"
"Do you visit the cloud district every often? Oh what am I saying? Of course you don't." I'll have you know that there's no PUSSIEEEEEEE-sucker punch.

I know it's cliche, but it's close between KoF 2002 UM and Garou: Mark of the Wolves with Garou barely winning due to personal preference alone.

I kind of lost the habit of going to movie theaters even before the quarantine, so not really. There are a couple of movies that I want to watch (mainly Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) right now), but I'll just watch them at home whenever I can.

A great Mascot Mook.On the same page: anything you're looking forward to seeing when the theaters open back up?
A recent one I'm thinking about picking up is this Metroidvania called Kunai, where you play as a lightning-fast ninja A.I. tablet with fun expressions. It has a sweet art style and the vibe just seems very in line with my sensibilities. Gonna give it a go soon, I think.
I played a little bit of Journey to the Savage Planet as well with my Xbox Game Pass sub, and that one's a neat lil' open world FPS/platformer with a kinda 90's sense of humor. It's a little crude, but the colorful visuals and the slightly demented vibe it has are enjoyable.
Even though it's a Sony-published affair, Concrete Genie looks like another one in my wheelhouse that only seems to have gotten a small amount of love. I think I might have to wait until my dad upgrades to make off with a PS4 to play it, but I love the art and the premise.
It's gotten some traction thanks to its art, but Cloudpunk looks really neat, too, and there's another cyberpunk-styled one on the way that's an adventure title called Encodya that also seems cool.

Not really. The only artist I've listened to whose genre is rock (or rather pop rock) is Yui. Other than her, I've really only listened to Utada Hikaru, who has dabbled in rock, but is mostly a J-pop singer.

The true power of us human beings is that we can change ourselves on our own.Which is your favourite work in terms of art style?
I don't have many headcanons for Zelda lore, so I don't believe one way or the other as to whether he finds Navi. Majora's Mask wasn't really in favour of either outcome, and I haven't played Twilight Princess so I don't know if it offers any substantial evidence. As for whom he ends up with, maybe gets together with Malon based on what you said. However, I don't really have my own thoughts on it because, as I've said to Bale, I don't actively ship characters from works I like and only have opinions on canon pairings or on characters who display clear attraction for one another, which I never saw in the Hero of Time given his status as a stoic Heroic Mime.
I'm on the fence as to which Champion I like best (aside from Zelda herself). I haven't played the Champions' Ballad DLC but that would probably allow me to flesh out my opinions.
Edited by ArgonianLorekeeper on May 9th 2020 at 2:12:39 PM
You can find me here now.Right, I think I may have asked this to you before, but.... Do you think the Hero of Time may have found Navi after the events of Majora's Mask? And who do you think is the girl he ends up with?
Again, I headcanon that Link and Navi are reunited some years after Ocarina and Majora, and I believe that he ends up with Malon due to how the Hero of Twilight from Twilight Princess is a rancher of pure-Hylian blood who knows Epona's song and not some royalty or Half-Human Hybrid or something.
But just in case I have, favorite Champion in BOTW (if you want to include Link and Zelda in it, you can; it's optional)?
Oh, hey, this old question again. (sigh) Dave from the Minion, Assassin from Marluxia, the Graceful Assassin.

I like a number of episodes, especially the ones that are just plain funny (like "The Legend of the Gobblewonker", "Carpet Diem", and "Little Gift Shop of Horrors") or do something new and interesting with the characters or show off a new side of them.
