I don't know what the pairings in the game indicates:
- Kou route - Aokou
- Rin route - Kourin
- Hifumi route - Aohifu
- Yun route - Aoyun
- Hajime route - Hajiyun
- Shizuku route - Aohifu, Kourin, Hajiyun, Shizugon
- Ahagon route - Nenegon
- Nene route - Aonene
Note that in Kou's route it's Kou X Aoba, while in Rin's route it's Kou X Rin; similar arangements exists between Ahagon and Nene as well...
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaJust finished reading Chapter 45. Just wanted to ask one thing:
I know there're quite a few shows that are in Moon Ranger's situation, where the adult Periphery Demographic is well-recognized by the producers— Precure comes to mind. In this case, how can people like Hajime or Hifumi know they should buy ticket for the evening show rather than the matinee?
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaSeven Seas Entertainment announces New Game!, becomes second publisher after Yen Press (10 years ago) to license a Kirara series.
(A bit off-topic: I wonder who'd license GochiUsa?)
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaBefore we can consider the second season, there's then OVA, which was most entertaining. There's not much in the way of work, of course, but it's a nice segue into the upcoming second season.
The only resource you need for tropesSeems like the unifying thread is 'ship everyone with everyone and it'll all work out'.
Kourin seems to be basically canon, though.
It's been fun.I can't decide between Aoba x Hifumi and Hifumi x Yun.
That was a volume 4...spoiler? Well, not really, but I didn't want to deprive anime-onlies of the opportunity to see it for themselves first.
In case anyone's wondering, A x B means A is the dominant partner in the pairing. Bringing this up because it's important in the above. :x

Give the God Eater game thread some love!^That certainly is an interesting dynamic for the second one!
Mostly I like Kourin because it's pretty clear they have history, and Rin is really friggin' domestic. Of course official art (covers and inserts and stuff) play up shippability for every series, but even so.
It's been fun. What an unexpected surprise the first episode was! It's fantastic to see everyone back again, and I'm looking forwards to seeing where this second season goes.

The only resource you need for tropesOh man that was a good episode, Aoba gets her chance to achieve her dream!
They hit the ground running with this one. Little time spent on recaps and reintroductions, and a good amount of time setting up the new arc for now. Kind of funny that they advanced to Aoba's second year already - in the manga, the company was deep into its next project by that point. It'll be interesting to see how they accommodate for the difference.
Funimation announced they are dubbing the series. Season 1 will be released over the next two weeks, and Season 2 will be dubbed weekly.

Unity sponsors this season◊. I can see the relationship, but I can't understand it on a marketing standpoint—unless there're really that many doujin game developers. I recall Magic of Stella's author mentioned it in an omake once...
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaWell there IS a New Game game. Looks interesting... I liked the Kou/Rin route.
Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayellEspecially the part where Rin's waiting for Ko's praise during their flower gazing, only to get brushed off when the sashimi comes out
Are you kidding? Unity powers a large number of Indie games out there owing to its ease of use. If anything, it's an obvious relationship.

The only resource you need for tropesOf course I know the importance of Unity in indie games; what I don't know is if New Game!'s viewership is overlapping that much with Unity's potential customers to make this worthwhile.
In another Produce Placement news, Kou no longer drinks knockoffs.◊

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaManga Vol 6: Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Excitement factor up, time to check it out.
The only resource you need for tropesIt's currently not translated btw, you'll have to look for raws.
I bought the actual book, so yeah.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!I'm debating between whether or not to watch this because of the new season. What would you guys say is the appeal of this series? I'm know it involves workers at a gaming company but that's it.

It's a Kirara show. THAT should tell you what its base genre is.
If you're up for something lighthearted, not meant to be taken seriously, and have no aversions to a highly fictionalised, rose-coloured view of game development, this is your cup of tea.
The only resource you need for tropesAnd I'd say by Volume 6 it isn't even all that rose-tinted. Still positive though.
That said, Chapter 47, when Hotaru appears in the main series and Nene demos Nene Quest.

Season 2 confirmation is some great news. I am ready for more antics with Aoba and the Eagle Jump staff
