I'm genuinely curious how the current image works at all. Without the caption, it has absolutely nothing to do with Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, because no teamwork is being shown. Basically, it has the same issues with the old image for Not Good with Rejection, which everyone agreed was JAFAAC.

The "teamwork" aspect seems weak in the Spidey/Wolvie setup.
It's better than "none at all" though, which is the issue with the current. Unless someone can find a picture of those two guys actually working together.
On top of my head, I'm sure we can find some interesting byplays between Tarvek and Gil from Girl Genius for illustrating this trope.
