Carcero... A planet located on the very outskirts of the multiverse. A planet that no one dares enters at their own accord, it houses the very worst that the multiverses have to offer. From the serial thieves that causes grief wherever they go, to mad scientists hell bent on world domination, to dictators, pirates, and everyone else in-between, Carcero is the unfortunate place these prisoners call "home". Being sentenced to live on this planet is equivalent to a death sentence: If the harsh terrain and atmosphere of the planet itself, the no-holds-barred prisoner population and the guards (of which is composed of the toughest men and women the multiverses have to offer) does not kill you, the fact that this planet is also inescapable certainly will. For prisoners, one way in and no way out, the planet has never seen a single person try to escape from its authoritarian clutches. This prison planet certainly gains its tough reputation...

...that is until these arrivals came into the planet. Can these new prisoners answer the challenge? Can they pull off the impossible and escape the most dangerous planet in the multiverse? And for some prisoners, can they take this opportunity to find out the truth behind their own incarceration within Carcero? And what of the guards that also inhabit this planet? Can they stand to have these prisoners in this harsh environment and do their job? Or will they actively do what they can to help the very criminals that they are supposed to be guarding the multiverse against?

So many questions, but not enough answers. Only one thing is certain: inside the planet of Carcero, only the strongest of the strong can truly survive.

Hi there R Pers!

Here you can sign-up for a new crossover/OC RP: Escape From Carcero. In this RP, the characters are dropped off on a planet on the outskirts of the multiverse called Carcero. As the introduction says, Carcero is a prison planet that houses various characters ranging in scale of every type of crime imaginable (or could be sentenced there completely innocent), and it is the objective of the prisoners within Carcero to escape by any means necessary. These prisoners will have to contend with harsh conditions, prisoners inside with their own personal agenda, and guards that were assembled for the expressed purpose of not letting anyone in or out, in order to escape and maybe along the way find out the origins of the planet itself.

As for the guards, their job is to keep these prisoners inside the planet by their own personal means. Either that, or if they are inclined they may help the prisoners with their endeavors inside Carcero. Whether they act cruel to these prisoners or help them, the guards are just as important players to this RP as the prisoners are. This RP is going to be :freeform, but with the overarching story being the prisoners trying to escape is the main arc of this RP. You can feel free to interact with other prisoners and guards at your discretion.

Now for the rules and guidelines. There’s not many, but they are as follows:

  • Don’t be a dick. Any OOC problems are to be worked out in the discussion thread and will not spill over to the main RP.
  • Only characters that are at or under Hyper Weight 4 will be accepted. Anything more and your character will not be accepted (unless they go through extensive nerfs beforehand). You also have a limit of 2 characters (at launch anyway. This could change as the RP goes forward)
  • The types of characters are either canon characters and OCs. OCs based on a canon universe can be allowed, as long as they fall at or under the Super Weight posted above.
  • Players that sign-up as guards, the guards are not the ultimate authority of the planet. Do not step over the boundaries and grief players that sign up as prisoners.
  • This RP does assume the characters know of Carcero. Keep that in mind when you fill in your sign-ups.
  • NP Cs are my responsibility as the GM. However, you can sign up as an NPC with the ones suggested here (if you don’t have a character in mind):

Now for the sheet itself!

  • Name: (Self-explanatory)
  • Universe of Origin: (What work do they come from? If you are signing up as an complete OC not in a canon universe, simply put in N/A)
  • Appearance: (Also self-explanatory. Picture, description, either one works)
  • Personality: (What makes them tick? Who are they like as a person?)
  • Powers: (What can your character do? This is completely separate from skills. If your character has no powers, type in N/A)
  • Skills: (What other things can your character do w/o powers? Are they super intelligent? Master manipulators? Things of that nature)
  • Backstory: (What’s the story of your character? How did they end up here?)
  • Prisoner or Guard: (Type in their role here)

Accepted Characters

  • None so far...

I'll get the backstory up in a few hours.

  • Name: Gordon Freeman
  • Universe of Origin: Even though Gordon is technically a Half-Life character, I'm using the version from Freemans Mind.
  • Appearance: [1]
  • Personality: Gordon is about as hammy as you can get. Basically, he's not afraid to throw a fit if need be. Also, he's sarcastic, narcissistic, and very selfish. On the bright side, he's also very smart. More on that in the skills section. On top of all of that, he also suffers from a tiny little case of batshit insanity. While he's sane enough to deal with situations he's dealt with in a reasonable manner, he's also the kind of guy who would sing Modern Major General while shooting down a platoon of soldiers and yell at them when they don't sing along.
  • Powers: N/A.
  • Skills: Gordon is very smart. He is a theoretical physicist after all. He's also a lot more fit than his co-workers, which explains why they're dead and he isn't. He's actually quite fit compared to most people. Gordon can fit into air vents and climb through them with ease, move at relatively quick speeds despite his (supposedly) bulky armor, and climb difficult surfaces such as ropes and rock faces pretty decently.
  • Backstory: WIP
  • Prisoner or Guard: Prisoner.

This thing still active? Do prisoners just get dumped onto the planet as they are, or are there any special procedures taken for certain ones? Like say, a people-eating, shapeshifting blob monster ala Alex Mercer gets put in a special suit that restricts his body?
