I have to agree, the series is nothing special so far but it still seems relatively competent in how it goes about things. The relative lack of Disproportionate Retribution for harem hijinks is refreshing though. Also the weapons are cool.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it Wellit's not so much that he can't help but fall over girls and onto their bosoms, but rather that the series seems hellbent into setting up a recurring joke of him doing things to the student council president accidentaly and she not actually minding that much anymore.
Pretty much a run of the mill "only boy in magic school" series, but decently executed and not as incoherent as some of last season were.
One of these day Hayato will run into Claire in a bath, slip and fall dick first into her, thus taking her first time. And she still won't mind.
Definitely less rushed than say, Bahamut.
While I can see that running gag going on — Claire has a fair number of "first times" left — it might be funnier if things eventually get reversed and she falls on him, thus having whichever her first time taken.
Also, I actually see this series as something closer to "Freezing", but without forced gender roles in combat and without forced female sempai/male kouhai relationships.

It does have the unnecessary shouting of the main heroine's full name every time though.
Speaking of which:
Anyway, I don't really buy the explanation of why the cooldown kiss works that Emilie gives in ep.3. I mean, active/passive state infection? That affects the target instantly?

Hundred is just really boring to me, after reading the entire manga adaptation. Trite really, if I were to be honest about my opinions. Executing these samey tropes in its samey premise "decently" doesn't do anything for me.
Episode 4:
this was bit boring to be honest, mostly dealing with Hayato's pheromone power and some new girl that isn't all that interesting.
I did like how Hayato dealt Sakura's teasing by upping the stakes. You don't see this often.
Oh look, evil Slayers.... I think?
I heard he ends up with Claire in the end which is kind of a bummer since he has more chemistry with Emilia anyway.
I have to disagree. Emilie is just clingy and possessive.
But anyway, that's pretty big spoiler right there.
Yeah, so far there isn't enough chemistry between them for Claire to win over Emilie. Unless author somehow kills the latter or has Hayato knock up the former.
Anyhow, on the topic of the series' girls,.. I personally like that mini-brunette - what's her name again - the most.
Episode 5: So this episode is basically Hayato bouncing from one lovestruck girl to another. Must be hard on him.
Clairie seemed pretty rigid at the beginning of the series, but that girl sure loves to have fun.
Sakura calls it a miracle, but her whole situation is really an enormous contrived coincidence.
Oh, I guess we now know where the yellow slayers came from.
And sudden Savage attack to end the episode.
Watched Episode 6.
Looks like Hayato'll have to fight Shirou later on, lol.
But more importantly, more swimsuits next episode!
So, Hunters, huh? Those guys are pretty strong. I'm guessing this won't be the last time Hayato got in conflict with them.
I just love Clairie, she's stern but fair.
Couldn't care less about Sakura. Never bought in that whole idol crap. I'm glad she's leaving.... oh bloody hell, she's back already?! Doesn't she has like a tour or something?
Next episode, swimsuits! And some plot I guess.
Episode 7:
So the beginning is like a typical beach episode, with all the gags, shenanigans and of course Hayato landing face first in Claire cleavage. It's like there some magnetic force that draws him to her. Not that I blame him.
Then Judar shows up, and man is that guy shifty. Claire evidently doesn't like her brother very much and somehow I'm not surprised. Then we get to the big reveal of the episode - LIZA is actually Liza, Claire little sister and the first Variant, who serves as the core of the island. What a twist!
Oh, and Hayato might be able to wake her up, but guess not.
Judar wants Hayato to become his brother in law. Seems that he can read his sister well after all.
So a mission in China, I guess? They want to find the Hunters. Hope Clarie is coming with them this time, because boy, did they get their asses kicked last time.
Emilia is a princess... wat? That came out of nowhere. Does it lead anywhere, or was the point only to introduce the chick who wants to take her back. Wow, that Claudia chick is annoying and way to clingy. Perfect match for Emilia I guess.
It's amazing how incredibly generic this show is. Gee, Emilia is a princess and has a clingy, female childhood friend who dislikes our hero because she wants to get in Emilia's pants? What an unexpected and exciting plot development!
Emilia is a princess because these types are always princesses in this sort of story. Hayato is a dweeb with no will of his own so he gets dragged into a duel with childhood friend, which of course he wins easily because the hero always does in these situations. Villains are obnoxious and arrogant thrash talkers because they always are.
Claire isn't just the best girl, she's the best character on the show. Her talk with Hayato was the highlight of the episode. I love the depth they've given her character.
The force of attraction between Hayato's hands and Claire tits seems to be growing stronger with each episode.
I think Claudia is growing a bit on me, mostly because she's giving Emilie the taste of her own medicine - being clingy, loud and selfish - and I find that hilarious.
Claire was badass at the end there. No one else can even fight the Hunter one on one and she was like "3 on 1? You bitches better surrender before I whoop your asses!" And she wasn't bluffing.
Good episode. Hundred continues to be a pleasant surprise.
Starting the series by reading the light novels, which, by the way, are currently being translated, and watching the anime, I've noticed these facts:
1. United Nations existing, but...
2. Countries having these names
a. Yamato = Japan
b. United States of Liberia = United States of America
c. Weimar Empire = Germany
d. France = Francois
3. Charlotte mentioning Vocaloids, per Volume 1, Chapter 5.
What tropes describe these?
I swear Youtube desperately wants me to watch this show because it keeps throwing an advertisement for it in my face every time I click a new video.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Closest I can think of is Captain Ersatz but that's for characters.
Never mind, just found out that the trope best applied is Istanbul (Not Constantinople), though how should I make a good explanation for it?

The trope is pretty well explained I think.
Okay... So whoever those three rogue slayers were working for has created - what I assume is - humanoid savages to fight on her side.
Anyone sees any parallels with Maria-clones from Freezing here? And if my intuition is right, those things will turn up as uncontrollable berserking enemies sooner or later.
So far, it's pretty middle of the road action harem. We have monsters that can only be fought with special weapons, a school that trains people to use them, the protagonist just arrives there at the beginning of the show, and there's a plethora of girls. Pretty standard.
It plays the tropes pretty straight, but for the most part does it well. The fights are cool, the pacing is good, and most of the characters seem pretty fine. Except Emilie who is obnoxious. It's hard to tell yet, but it could be a pretty entertaining show.
I just have to roll my eyes every time Hayato stumbles and gropes Claire.
