Oh shit, Miss Tairee is pissed.
This is what happens when a Friend to All Children finds out a demon is using a little girl to stab people to death.
: Miss Tairee is a mom (with her child(ren) still in her home universe or possibly being held for ransom by The Author) and is projecting her Mama Bear tendencies for her own child(ren) onto the children in The City.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Sawyer is done with Charisma rolls.
Shame, here was hoping that Brother Marcus can actually be used for a righteous purpose.
Also shame that more often than not she's actually not doing anything. <.<

Big GrahMaybe we should have a WMG page.
Anyway, I could actually have posted again since by my notes everyone in the boss battle has posted, meaning I don't have to wait for the 24 hour mark. But, I'm a little bit writer's blocked and it's late, so I'll just try to work on a post first thing tomorrow. Speaking of which, I'll be sleeping in tomorrow, but I still expect to be on not much later than I was on today; can't say for certain though.
You are reading this.I hope Ben remembers to call Sans and tell him that Cole's ok and what happened to him because that sure would help the group know what happened to Mary as well

Made a short, blah-ish post.
Somebody once told me the world was macaroni, I took a bite out of a treeYou know, I'm starting to worry what will happen if/when Kat ever switches characters.
If this is Sadness' reaction now, and she'll be all alone once Mary disappears...

Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.wild mass guess: Miss Tairee is a mom (with her child(ren) still in her home universe or possibly being held for ransom by The Author) and is projecting her Mama Bear tendencies for her own child(ren) onto the children in The City.
If this is Sadness' reaction now, and she'll be all alone once Mary disappears...
Also, it is a possibility, so you have every right to be worried. Although who knows. Just in the way she can leave, she can also stay, or even return after leaving. It all depends on what happens and on what I feel like doing.
So, I wanted to share something I typed up on a whim a few days ago.
What if City of Lost Characters was a Thief fan mission?
In the Bird's Hand
[Imagery: A slow zoom-in into the map of the City of Lost Characters. Fades into: Garrett standing with his arms upon his hips in front of the Ruckus warehouse.]
[Voiceover:] Well... seems like no matter where I go, I'm always finding myself up against one heavyweight or another.
[Imagery: a slow zoom-in into a portrait of Lord of Change, who is smiling darkly... the rank insignia of Ruckus are then overlaid on top of the image, in sequence from the lowest rank to the highest... at the moment Garrett says the god's name, the symbol turns into the Chaos Star of Tzeentch while a grim, low piano note plays.]
Going by what Ben and Twilight told us yesterday, and what we found in certain books, the leader of "Ruckus" is actually a powerful demon called "Lord of Change", serving some "chaos god" named — Tzeentch. ...Gods. It seems you can never get away from them.
[Imagery: in a city alley, two Ruckus members with brandished weapons loom above the viewer, leering at him with sinister smiles.]
Recently, the Lord of Change had a bunch of his goons ambush and kidnap Cole... presumably taking him to their headquarters.
[Imagery: zoom-out from a picture of Cole, standing awkwardly with knees towards each other, with a look on his face like a despairing confused rabbit, pulling down his hat with both hands as if trying to hide inside it.]
I don't know what might he want from the psychic kid... but it cannot be anything good.
[Imagery: Sawyer, Ben, Ranma and Hol Horse with determined looks on their faces. At the end, Garrett's silhouette fades in behind them.]
The others, of course, are planning to assault the Ruckus HQ... and I think I might just come with.
[Imagery: The Lord of Change, writing with a quill-pen in a thick book decorated with Tzeentch's symbols. At the end, the camera zooms into the book while everything around it fades to black.]
It's a long shot, but... The Lord of Change just might have found some potential way to get out of this city. And anything that lets me get back home even a few days sooner is critical. Now, from my experience, people like him tend to keep detailed notes around that summarize their findings. If I can get my hands onto the guy's personal writings, it may get me a lot closer towards blowing this joint.
[Imagery: Garrett in the foreground, the other heroes in the background, all facing away from the viewer and looking upon the looming Ruckus HQ.]
And even if something goes wrong... well, it's not like I can really die here, after all.
I'm going to have to keep a low profile, even moreso than usual. Best scenario, nobody of the Ruckus, not even the Lord of Change, will ever know I've been involved. I'd rather not make more enemies in this city than I have to.
Objectives
- The Lord of Change may know more about the nature of the city — and possible escape routes — than anyone else. Try and find some helpful writings or notes.
- Once you've done everything you came in for, get out of the Ruckus HQ... preferably alive.
- Get Cole out of the Ruckus headquarters. (Normal)
- Get Cole out of the Ruckus headquarters — but make sure he doesn't die. It might be too much of a shock for the poor boy. (Hard, Expert)
- Someone like the Lord of Change is bound to have some valuable knick-knacks around. Get at least 200 in loot. (Normal)
- Get at least 400 in loot. (Hard)
- Get at least 600 in loot. (Expert)
- No need to make the Ruckus furious at you... yet. What they don't know can't hurt them. Don't let any Ruckus members see you. (Hard, Expert)
- A true professional never has to kill. This applies even when nobody stays dead. Don't kill anyone who's unarmed. (Hard)
- A true professional never has to kill. This applies even when nobody stays dead. Don't kill anyone. (Expert)

That is awesome.
@Protrash: To make words bold, you surround them with 3 apostrophes on each side. Like this To make words italics, use 2 apostrophes. Like this.

Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating. So who's willing to meet the crabby asshole first?
(holds pool noodle threateningly) Do you want to know what we do to artists?Ohhhhhhhhhh...everybody saw that fail? XD
(holds pool noodle threateningly) Do you want to know what we do to artists?I don't think there's many people on the lower floor (wait that's where the balconies are right) to meet Karkat, actually. I think Pea, Tick and Arthur might be close, but otherwise Firock will possibly supply you with an NPC to talk to.
On an, um, completely unrelated note, does anyone also in the Battleworld RP happen to know where the correct signups are? ._.
Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.thanks ;~;
Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating. Is Firock on?
(holds pool noodle threateningly) Do you want to know what we do to artists?Firock is nocturnal. So he usually shows up late at night and early in the morning.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Oh, okay. So what do I do in the meantime? I can just have Karkat find stairs to the middle layer, right?
(holds pool noodle threateningly) Do you want to know what we do to artists? It's never really a good idea to post just for the sake of it, unless it's been like a week and no one has responded to you. Have patience, someone'll find Karkat first!

I'll post sometime tomorrow; it's kind of late here and I'm not sure what to write.
