So Macky pulls off a betrayal-heavy gambit worthy of "F**king Ribbons". Also...Gaelio, he is A GARMA.
As for Mika sacrificing an arm and an eye to access Barbatos' full potential... Yikes. At least the Tallgeese just killed the pilot outright if he couldn't handle the G-forces involved.
At this point in time, would Kudelia be considered a major player on the world stage (so to speak), or is she not there yet?
"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."She represents a planet.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyThe girl has Tekkadan at her beck & call. She is now a major player now.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."She has the backing of Arbrau (at least it seems), she's the hero of the common man, and she's associated with Tekkadan, who are have received some very nice PR for exposing Gjallarhorn's corruption.
She's got a fair amount of influence, though I don't know if I'd call it planetary level yet. I think officially speaking she only represents the city of Chryse.
I'm still under the impression that Kudelia is not quite there yet. Sure, she's finally making steps to implement policy changes in Earth's governments (after spending a good portion of the season being unable to do anything) and has Tekkadan figuratively watching her back, but TBH she's still not that influential within the Earth Sphere.
At the moment, she does have the support of Makanai and the Arbrau government—one of four Earth-side governments if I saw the Freeze-Frame Bonus correctly (EDIT: 'd), her connections with Teiwaz via Tekkadan, and Nobliss (and whatever company/group he's running). And that's it.
I'm hoping to see the other governments on Earth (or elements within those governments who want to change how Gjallarhorn is running things) try to make contact with Kudelia once season 2 rolls in.

"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."Again I suspect that after a time-skip she might gather more power.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Wow, I didn't really notice last episode that Ein was in a liquid tank. His mind is probably stuck in the Mobile Suit, since he had a blank expression on his actual face.
Also, jesus, my heart went out for poor Gaelio. Macgillis was a cold motherfucker, though he did give his dad the option of exile.
And now Mika's disabled due to pushing the limits of his AV connection. All in all, pretty good way to end the season, and there's naturally enough to build on for another season.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelActually, I don't think Ein was shown inside the Graze before now, just the blueprint of what his connection look like. And Mika's only disabled when not plugged in, so he can still do his thing; and he only needs one hand to eat those nut-things and double tap people, so he's good unplugged too.
I realize that they were pressed for time, but I'm still somewhat salty we didn't get to see Guts go berserk.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyMikazuki's newly acquired disabilities made me wonder if the ending's going to end up leaving him in a near-vegetative state so he'll end up spending the rest of his days on Biscuit's family's farm being looked after by *insert female character(s) here*, but then I remember that this season gave everyone Patrick Colasour-level plot armor in order to achieve the feel-good ending, so I dunno.
I'm not sure if they can do anything about his eye, but if they work fine when hooked up to the Barbatos couldn't someone whip something like an Alaya-Vijnana-connected exoskeleton? It would at least allow him full use of his hands outside of the cockpit.
Eh i'm kinda hoping Mika makes it outta this war alive & functioning if only cause I find the idea of him getting a harem ending with Atra & Kudelia pretty funny actually.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I do love that Atra keeps pushing for a OT3 ending.
Ah, thanks.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyWell since we couldn't get any Raising of the Flag... I decided to get this 8-Bit Version.
I knew Gaelio would become the next Garma right from the beginning.
Pro tip: If you happen to be a purple haired guy in any Gundam anime and you see a blonde man wearing a mask, for the sake of your life, stay, away, from, him.
Gali-Gali didn't know about the mask
Being Gali-Gali is suffering.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyThat is an understatement.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Hey, would Gali be considered prejudiced? Since he too called Tekkadan "Space Rats".
Gali reminded me more of Dorel Ronah.
I'm not the nicest bloke you've ever met, but I do me best.Kimaris's head sorta reminds me of the Cosmo Babylonian suits from F91, like the Vigna Ghina and the other ones with fancy heads.
Gaelio is a product of Earth's upper crust of society, so he definitely reflects the predominant attitudes there. Earth is the center of human civilization and culture, and anyone not from Earth is — at best — a rube until they prove otherwise (and Gaelio is somewhat progressive for adding "until they prove otherwise", which is why Ein respects him so much). In addition, Cybernetics Eat Your Soul, and anyone with implants or otherwise cyberized is no longer human. He seems to bend on this for Ein's sake, but it's not entirely clear, to be honest.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. It's been shown that none of the Cybernetics really messed with anyone, except Ein, but I chalk that up to brain damage and power.
I still need to binge watch the last four episodes but I'm sad to hear that Chocolate Man turns out to be a main villain after all.
