The S-D character pages should not be potholed. I cared about it a lot more in the past, though, when I went on a spree to dewick GLaDOS.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"What about linked in Trivia pages, like the various Self-Demonstrating characters in Trivia.Super Smash Bros?

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?^^^ Even for page images? Because the image for It Makes Sense in Context, a Deadpool image, wicks to SelfDemonstrating.Deadpool... to which ComicBook.Deadpool redirects (that is, there is no CB namespaced entry for Deady, just the SD page).
All your safe space are belong to TrumpAs I discovered the hard way. Had to dewick her name within the Original Post.
Anyway, the fact that ComicBook.Deadpool redirects to SelfDemonstrating.Deadpool is more proof that fellow tropers are treating the self-demonstrating character pages as if they can be potholed like normal pages.
The pages, themselves, are fine due to their mere existence being Just for Fun. As such, I don't think they need to be fixed (hens, this not being a Trope Repair Shop discussion). It's the way our fellow tropers are treating them that's the problem.

ComicBook/Deadpool redirecting to SelfDemonstrating/Deadpool is huge problem. Not only is Deadpool a popular comic character, he has his own comic book named Deadpool, too. And both the Deadpool movie and the Deadpool video game are allowed to have their own pages under the Film and Video Game subspaces.
Many of you already know the existence of the Self-demonstrating character pages and how they're written from the point of view of the character they represent. However, there's been a long standing problem of characters being potholed outside of Self Demonstrating Articles even if said potholes wouldn't be necessarily.
While the could be solved simply by simply creating non-self-demonstrating pages, this seems to only be feasible if the character, in question, is a comic book character. As it stands, however, even characters like GLaDOS and Bowser, characters who originated within video games instead of comic books, are being potholed, as can be seen here: [1] [2].
We may need to figure out how to solve this problem, since those who aren't in on the joke are more likely to see this as an annoyance instead of funny (especially as it's overused).
