Stand ALONE Rp interest and sign ups

This idea cannot stay in my head.

It is 2016.

You are Japanese school students seemingly living out your ideal high school life...yet there is an unspoken disruption, something that lurks, suddenly appears and then is just as quickly banished.

That is the "Trips" disease. It either withers you into a veritable mummy or it turns you into a grotesque parody of yourself in zombie form.

And of course there are darker things that may exist within the shadows - a dangerous corporation that may be responsible.

And of course that odd drifter, who it seems cannot keep his story straight, and who confessed to wanting to turn old derelict Tokyo into "a thriving city of lights...a regular New Las Vegas."

And some students can see an oddity in this man. A certain malignity. How to best survive, then.

The students are led by Yuki Hojo, who leads their odd school life, though her position is uncertain with the decayed reality of the situation.

Essentially an urban fantasy horror zombie apocalypse RP set in a parody of Japanese school life, the students must sort out who they can trust and who they cannot.

The apocalypse has existed for a while now so most characters would have some Action Survivor traits.

• Name: Yuki Hojo
• Age: 16
• Gender: female
• School Year: 1
• Appearance: Yuki is a rather petite girl, constantly smiling and trying to see the more optimistic side of life. She wears her school's uniform constantly, even while home, she is notably pale, and doesn't seem to get much exercise except escaping and fighting off what she calls the "Hollow Men".
• Personality: Yuki has a badly fractured mind. She believes she is in a Magical Girl anime wherein she goes to school with her friends, while fighting the terrible Hollow Men. Yuki is mostly innocent, though not nearly as clueless as she acts - most of her persona is a front made to keep her safe from the damage that ensues in fighting "Hollow Men". Her friends are vastly more experienced than her, which she is acutely aware of. She also seems to dislike herself and sees herself as The Load. Her advice comes from her "boyfriend" and her "best friend". She is aware to some degree that people around her might not have her best interests at heart, but she cannot be sure how much she experiences is real. Her life is essentially a Mind Screw, and she is painfully aware. She still tries to be as courageous and strong as she can.
• Bio: She doesn't remember much of her life except a single instance where some bullies from school forced her to be part of a strange occult ritual with a ouija board. The bullies were driven insane, and she staggered out of the building. She claims she has loving parents and an older sister who is "cooler than I could hope to be. She survives everything thrown at her."
• Skills: She is, despite her negative opinion, skilled with a Japanese short sword. She is also moderately skilled with a bow and arrow.
• Equipment: Her bow, which needs more arrows, and her sword.

"Do I look like an untrustworthy man?"

• Name: Randy Feynmann
• Age: 18?
• Gender: Male
• Appearance: True to King, with a cast mostly composed of teenagers, this man appears as a combination of different teenage male idols, somewhat long ruddy hair, strange dark eyes that seem to draw people in, and a swagger to his step that only wavers when things go wrong. He wears a Viva Las Vegas t-shirt, a denim jacket, jeans and boots. Markedly tall and thin. While theoretically attractive looking, most ascribe an incredibly unnerving quality to him.
• Personality: By all appearances a somewhat disoriented drifter, he has utterly no idea what he's doing out here, where he is, and what he's doing, but a vague idea is in mind - he really liked Las Vegas, and wants to make a new one. How true this demeanor is and how much of it is a ploy depends on the day. Its not even a spoiler that he's cruel and malignant inside, almost unbelievably so. He has his eye on Yuki due to her delusions, under a belief about her.
• Bio: He claims he was on a boat, but the crew died of the sickness and he was marooned in Japan. Found his way to Tokyo, and "fell for Yuki here like a tonna bricks." This, of course, is a lie. He is Randall Flagg The Black Wizard, a cruel monster. His true backstory is hard to find, but apparently he "is a life long wanderer." While he claims to be "The Devil's Son", he first used this as an insult. He was only "the victim" as he puts it once, but this shaped him into the vicious creature he is now.
• Skills: He claims to be a "magic man". He's not lying on that. He's also an omniglot, and also claims to have administrative experience.
• Equipment: Just the weird book at his side and the coat on his back.

Ok, so there's magic, yeah? Can other characters use it or spirits or whatever?

The state of magic is by and large something few people know about, and some of it simply falls under "blessings" and such.

The Magic is only barely starting to come back, and by and large you'll need to find out how it works and how to counter that enemy's spellcraft.

As such, powers are extremely rare, but mostly fall under Dreamweavers and illusions, though there may be some appearances later by other dangerous things in Stephen King's verse.
